Manifest Your Dreams: The Art of Wealth Magic in Club Settings

By admin

Weal majic clups are exclusive and secretive organizations that involve the practice of magic. These clubs are often known only to those who are deeply involved in the magical community, and they tend to keep their activities hidden from the general public. Weal majic clups can vary in size and structure, ranging from small groups of like-minded practitioners to larger multinational organizations with branches worldwide. Membership in a weal majic clup is typically limited to individuals who have proven themselves skilled in the magical arts. These clubs often have strict initiation processes and may require aspiring members to demonstrate their abilities or pass certain tests. Some weal majic clups may have a specific focus or specialization, such as elemental magic, healing magic, or divination.

Moiraine Damodred has come home to Cairhien in The Wheel of Time season 2, but it hasn't exactly been a warm welcome for the powerful Aes Sedai played by Rosamund Pike. In the exclusive clip above from this week's upcoming episode, you can see Moiraine's sister Anvaere (Lindsay Duncan) really tear into her for abandoning their family back in the day.

Moiraine was the favored daughter of her father, but once her channeling ability awakened, she went off to the White Tower and never looked back. Now that she's been cut off from the One Power, Moiraine has need of her family's resources again in order to protect Rand (Josha Stradowski), the messiah she's been searching for her whole life. So she's back in Cairhien, but seriously trying her sister's patience.

Pike is something of an expert in The Wheel of Time lore, and recently became the narrator for a new series of audiobook adaptations of Robert Jordan's epic fantasy series. In an interview with EW that took place earlier this summer before the start of the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, Pike explained how knowledge of the series' trajectory has helped her give the appropriate weight to Moiraine's time in Cairhien.

"It helps me understand the world of Cairhien and exactly why Moiraine is so uncomfortable in her home environment, why she tries to distance herself from this city of political machinations and lying and gamesmanship and backstabbing, and also the history of that town and how they broke oaths in the past," Pike says. "That's something that Moiraine does battle with, because she sees herself as somebody who will not ever break a promise. The promise that she made to find the Dragon Reborn and lead him or her to the Final Battle, that's something that she takes incredibly seriously. I could play it without reading the books, but I wouldn't have that deeper understanding of the Cairhien mindset and where she's come from if I hadn't."

The next Wheel of Time episode hits Amazon Prime Video this Friday. For now, watch the new clip above.
