Garden Growth & Protection Spell
Spring and Ostara are right around the corner. Each day I see more and more signs of how close the growing season is to us. So with this in mind, I decided to share one of my garden spells. This spell is one I will be performing on Ostara. But it can also be done during a New Moon to make the most use of the Moon’s energy. It is the New Moon that is the best phase to do workings for gardening and farming. Then to make the most of the Sun’s energy it should be done during the Adolescence Brother/Lover phase which is in the morning time between 9a.m. and 11a.m. This is the best phase for the Sun’s energies to work on workings dealing with the garden. It is a very simple spell and can easily be adapted to be done in a garden pot, a raised garden bed or a standard in the ground garden bed to suit your needs. I also used 3 types of crystals for this spell, Aventurine, Tiger’s Eye, and Tree Agate. All three of the crystals are helpful in a garden when placed close to the plants. I chose to use chips of the crystals because regardless of the size of a crystal it still carries the same energy. So since the crystals will be staying in the soil, I chose small chips. Another ingredient of the spell is Parsley seeds. Parsley is a good herb to use for spells for protection, luck, and purification. Plus it is a herb I enjoy having in my garden since I use a lot of parsley in the kitchen, medicinally and magically. I am also starting a parsley raised garden bed this year. This will be a small 2×2 bed just for Parsley. I will let the plants to go through their natural cycle and allow the seeds to drop where they will. This way each year I will have new parsley growing in my garden. After the spell, you will just need to water as needed and then watch as your parsley grows.
Garden Growth and Protection Spell Ingredients:
3 Aventurine chips- Protects the garden from negative energies and pollution.
3 Tiger’s Eye chips- Encourages healthy root growth.
3 Tree Agate chips- Helps to calm the plants and encourages growth and fullness.
7 Parsley seeds- Protection of the garden and home.
To do the spell gather the ingredients and cleanse them beforehand. Then take them out to where you wish to plant your Parsley. Ground and center yourself and then start the spell. Place all of the seeds and stones in your palm.
Next, pick up the Aventurine chips and start to drop them into the soil and say:
Protect my garden,
Allow no negative energy,
Allow no pollution.”
Next, pick up the Tiger’s Eye chips and as you drop them into the soil say: “Tiger’s Eye, Tiger’s Eye,
Help my garden grow,
Encourage the roots to grow strong and healthy.”
Then pick up the Tree Agate chips and as you drop them into the soil say: “Tree Agate, Tree Agate,
As you encourage it to grow beautiful and full.”
Next, pick up the parsley seeds and as you drop them into the soil say: “Parsley, Parsley,
Help your seeds to grow,
As these seeds move through their cycle,
Keep parsley growing here year to year.
As the seasons flow, Parsley stays here to grow.”
Then using your projective hand touch the soil and start to gently brush the soil over the seeds and stones as you say:
“With these offerings,
My garden will grow.
With these offerings,
Protection will grow.
