In folklore and mythology, witches have long been depicted as powerful and mysterious figures, capable of casting spells and using dark magic. However, not all witches fit this stereotypical image. There exists a lesser-known type of witch known as the "waxed witch," who possesses a unique and intriguing set of abilities. The waxed witch gets its name from its ability to manipulate wax. This form of witchcraft is ancient and has been practiced by a select few throughout history. The waxed witch has the power to shape and mold wax with their mind, creating intricate sculptures, figurines, and even lifelike replicas of people.

Traditional Summer Camp
Our Traditional Summer Camp programs are overnight programs designed specifically for individual campers between the ages of 6-16 to come to experience the magic of Victory Junction with other kids just like them! These programs are run by a wonderful group of summer staff, volunteers, full-time staff, and medical professionals!
REACH Program
When kids can’t leave the hospital, we bring the magic of camp to them. Reach works with pediatric hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses to provide specialized programs that enhance patient care. Learn more .

Summers at Victory Junction are flat out fun! Kids have the chance to enjoy a week filled with adventure and new friends. Each session is diagnosis-specific and accommodates up to 128 campers.

Medical conditions can impact the entire family, so our weekend sessions focus on bringing everyone together for camp adventures. Each session is diagnosis-specific and accommodates up to 32 families.

The medical team’s base of operation is The Body Shop, our state-of-the-art medical facility and pharmacy equipped to handle everyday medical needs in addition to emergency situations. To make sure fun-filled days are not interrupted, scheduled medications are hand-delivered and administered. We work to keep camper time in the Body Shop to a minimum to maximize the fun!

I was really looking forward to "The Waxed Witch" as I am a huge fan of supernatural thrillers, but I was left disappointed. The plot was confusing and lacked depth, making it difficult for me to fully immerse myself in the story. Additionally, the characters were one-dimensional and lacked any real development. It felt like the author tried to cram too many ideas into one book without fully fleshing them out. Overall, "The Waxed Witch" failed to captivate me and I wouldn't recommend it to fans of the genre.

"The Waxed Witch" was a complete waste of my time. The writing was amateurish and filled with clichés, making it unbearable to read. The storyline was predictable and lacked any originality. I found myself rolling my eyes at the absurd plot twists and the lack of character motivation. The dialogue was unrealistic and cringe-worthy, making it difficult to take the story seriously. I couldn't wait to finish this book and would advise others to avoid it at all costs. There are much better supernatural thrillers out there.

I couldn't find myself rooting for any of them or investing in their journeys. Overall, "The Waxed Witch" was a disappointing read that left me underwhelmed. I don't understand the hype surrounding this book.
