Once upon a time, in a mystical land far away, there lived a black witch named Esmeralda. Esmeralda was known throughout the land for her powerful magic and her sinister ways. Her black cloak and dark, piercing eyes filled the hearts of the villagers with fear. They believed she used her magic to bring bad luck and misfortune upon their lives. Rumors spread like wildfire through the village, each tale more terrifying than the last. Many claimed to have witnessed her casting spells on innocent bystanders, causing crops to wither and livestock to perish.
The sixteen 'rugs' surround a giant Genie lamp. The riders in the front seat control the up and down motion, while the back seat controls the pitch of the carpet from front to back.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin – Adventureland – Magic Kingdom
Located in Adventureland, across from Swiss Family Treehouse and beside The Enchanted Tiki Room is the Magic Carpets of Aladdin! Themed after Disney’s Aladdin animated film, the colorful ride allows guests of all ages to soar through the air on this “flying” attraction.
ATTRACTION
The attraction design is very similar to Dumbo the Flying Elephant. It is a hub-and-spoke attraction with 4-passenger vehicles (16 of them) configured as magic carpets centered by a giant — and animated — Genie lamp.
Each carpet has two rows, and each row has a lever. The front lever controls the height of the carpet, and the back controls the forward and backward rocking.

Lightning Lane access for The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is available with the purchase of Genie+, however it usually has a lower standby wait time compared to most of the other attractions in the park.
This is a fairly short ride, about 80 seconds long.
The carpets can seat 4 guests each — two in each row. The smaller riders should sit on the inside.
Guests in motorized vehicles, ECVs, must transfer into an available wheelchair at this attraction.

In truth, she used her magic to heal the sick and injured, to protect the animals in the forest, and to bring peace to the land. As she cautiously entered the lair, she was greeted by Esmeralda, who smiled warmly and welcomed her. As Emma spent time with Esmeralda, she discovered the truth about the black witch's intentions. She saw firsthand the good that Esmeralda was capable of, as she used her magic to heal an injured bird and bring life back to a dying tree. Emma realized that the villagers had been wrong about Esmeralda all along. With newfound knowledge, Emma made it her mission to change the villagers' perception of Esmeralda. She gathered them together in the village square and told them the tale of her encounter with the black witch. She spoke of the kindness and compassion she had witnessed, and urged them to see Esmeralda for the good-hearted witch she truly was. Slowly but surely, the villagers began to see Esmeralda in a new light. They realized that their fear had been misplaced and that Esmeralda's powers were a force for good in their lives. They came to understand that appearances can be deceiving, and that judging someone based solely on their outward appearance often leads to misunderstanding. And so, the fable of the black witch named Esmeralda became a lesson for all. It served as a reminder that the true nature of a person cannot be determined by their exterior, and that it is far better to seek out the truth before passing judgment. The black witch's story taught the villagers the value of compassion, acceptance, and the power of seeing beyond the surface..
