Channeling Earth Magic with the Terraeia Magic Dagger

By admin

The Terraeia magic dagger is a unique and powerful weapon that has a rich history and significance in the world of magic and mysticism. Crafted from the rare Terraeia stone, a precious gem with inherent magical properties, this dagger is said to possess the ability to channel and amplify the wielder's magical abilities. The origins of the Terraeia stone itself are shrouded in mystery. It is believed to be a gift from the gods, bestowed upon the realm in ancient times. The stone is known for its radiant green hue, resembling the lushness of nature, and its ability to emit a soft, ethereal glow when activated by magic. The craftsmanship of the Terraeia magic dagger is intricate and meticulous.

Inspired by another topic, it occurs to me that many of us think weapons are bad or unusable, simply because we know what we like. But, do we know what we DON'T like? What's a worthy investment of your time and resources? In the case of polls which have multiple items bunched together, such as the ore swords, pick only the best one. If you love silver sword, but think iron sword is a waste of the bars, vote as if this were a poll for silver sword. I'll be logging these in a spreadsheet and making a compilation of which items users think are good, bad, OP, or a waste of space.
If they're bad, what would make them better? Lower cost? Autoswing? Projectiles? Different attack animation?
If they're OP, what would make them balanced?

Day Twenty Three: Magic Dagger

A low mana, rapid fire, magic damage throwing knife. A well balanced weapon, to be sure. Spammable, and with respectable damage output. The downside of this is that you need to fight normal mimics to get one. Normal mimics are not able to be created like a hallowed mimic, so anything that comes off a normal/ice mimic would require you to spend time in that zone.

I do love this weapon, even if I don't get it often. If it falls into my lap in early hardmode, I'm definitely using it. Its pierce ability makes it very useful for farming wyverns to get your first wings (unless you buy them from witch doctor), and it's a passable weapon for hardmode goblins.
