Miklo and Maic are two fictional characters that appear in the movie "Blood In Blood Out." The film, released in 1993, follows the lives of three cousins: Miklo, Cruz, and Paco. Miklo, played by Damian Chapa, is a Chicano gang member who gets involved in criminal activities and ends up in prison. Maic, played by Jesse Borrego, is also a Chicano gang member and Miklo's childhood friend. He is a talented artist who uses graffiti as a way to express himself. Unlike Miklo, Maic tries to distance himself from the gang lifestyle and pursues a career in art.
Actor Theodore Wilson died shortly after filming his scenes in the film.
Magic looking out of the cell A lost scene, where Magic observed around of San Quentin prison, it also looks like the same door where Magic Killed Bonafide. Many members of the staff were given small lines in the film, with the warden giving an extended cameo in a part that is somewhat integral to the plot.
Unlike Miklo, Maic tries to distance himself from the gang lifestyle and pursues a career in art. Throughout the movie, Miklo and Maic's paths intersect, and their friendship is put to the test. Miklo's involvement in the gang causes tension between them, as Maic wants to lead a different life.
