Every year, the Hallmark show has a Halloween special, and this year is no different. Well, the movie itself will be a little different, though, and that’s because there will be one important character missing this time around: Grace (Bailee Madison).
The actress announced over the summer that she was leaving the show after five seasons as Cassie Nightingale’s (Catherine Bell) daughter. For those who have been wondering whether or not that meant she’d be done after the Season 5 finale in August or after tonight’s “Good Witch: Curse from a Rose” movie, it’s the former.
The network confirmed to International Business Times that Madison and her character Grace will not be in this year’s “Good Witch” Halloween movie. That said, the rest of the characters Goodies have come to love after all of these years will be back for the special.
Aside from Bell, the cast members appearing in the movie include Sarah Power (Abigail), Catherine Disher (Martha), James Denton (Sam), Peter MacNeill (George), Rhys Matthew Bond (Nick), Kylee Evans (Stephanie), Paul Miller (Tom), Scott Cavalheiro (Adam) and Marc Bendavid (Mayor Donovan Davenport).
