DVC Moonlight Magic is a one-of-a-kind after-hours event that allows you to explore and enjoy select Disney theme parks in a whole new light. With shorter wait times, immersive experiences, and exclusive access to some of the most beloved attractions, this extraordinary event is truly a dream come true for Disney enthusiasts. During DVC Moonlight Magic, you can look forward to exciting entertainment options, including dance parties, character encounters, and spectacular fireworks displays. These enchanting experiences provide the perfect opportunity to create lifelong memories and capture magical moments with your favorite Disney characters. In addition to the extraordinary entertainment, you will also have access to exclusive dining options and limited-time merchandise offerings that are sure to delight both young and young-at-heart.
Bonus Moonlight Magic Announced for December 2023
Disney Vacation Club members will have an extra opportunity to enjoy exclusive access to Disney's Animal Kingdom!
On the night of December 13, 2023 Disney Vacation Club will host a "surprise" Moonlight Magic event at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Moonlight Magic is a free after-hours event for members only, which provides access to theme park attractions with shorter-than-usual wait times, free refreshments, unique character encounters and more. The events typically run for about 3 hours after the park's scheduled closing time.
Advance registration is required and event capacity is limited. Registration will utilize a virtual queue, which is a sort of lottery system to determine who is able to attend. Moonlight Magic events typically do not have enough capacity to accommodate all eligible DVC members staying at Walt Disney World.
Qualifying members with resort reservations for the night of December 13 will be able to register beginnning at 11:00am eastern on November 28, 2023. Members can register up to the number of guests listed on their hotel reservation. (e.g. a member with a reservation for a two bedroom villa with 8 individuals in the party can register for 8 attendees to Moonlight Magic.)
All guests must be listed on the reservation by 11:59pm on November 26, 2023 in order to be recognized.
A second general registration will take place on December 5, 2023 at 11:00am eastern. During the general enrollment, no hotel stay is required in order to participate. Members can register themselves and up to 4 additional guests to attend the event.
Moonlight Magic is open only to DVC members who qualify for Membership Extras. The current policy requires owners to purchase at least 150 points direct from DVC in order to qualify, though some legacy members are grandfathered into the perks program under prior terms.
The member must attend Moonlight Magic and be prepared to show their DVC digital member card and a photo ID upon arrival.

This is the 10th Moonlight Magic event of 2023. No announcements have been made regarding a schedule for 2024.

NEW DATE Announced for the EXCLUSIVE Moonlight Magic Event in Disney World
Being a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member comes with its share of perks.
We’re not even talking about being able to book stays at Disney World properties around the world (although that is certainly a benefit of membership). DVC members also get access to exclusive merchandise, previews of new attractions, and more. DVC members also get access to an exclusive after-hours event in Disney World, called Moonlight Magic — and a new event is coming up soon!
Moonlight Magic is an after-hours event held on select dates throughout the year that is FREE to DVC members. Well, a NEW Moonlight Magic event is now scheduled for December 13th in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

During the event, DVC members can visit Animal Kingdom after it has closed to the public. There will be special activities, entertainment, complimentary food, and more, as well as shorter lines for attractions. All you have to do to attend is be a DVC member and register in advance.

To register for the event, you’ll need to do so within the registration window. When that window opens, you’ll visit the DVC website and select “RSVP Online.” Be sure to have your DVC member number ready. You’ll enter a virtual waiting room, and when it’s your time, you’ll be sent to the registration form to sign up.
Moonlight Magic 2022
Early registration opens on November 28th — this is for DVC members with existing resort reservations at Disney World or Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. General Registration for eligible DVC members opens on December 5th, pending availability. Note that walk-ins are not permitted for this Moonlight Magic event.
