Ancient witch raiment refers to the clothing and accessories worn by witches in ancient times. These garments were often believed to possess magical properties and were an essential part of a witch's identity and practice. The raiment varied across different cultures and time periods, but there were some common elements found in many ancient witch costumes. One prominent feature of ancient witch raiment was the use of dark, earthy colors such as black, brown, and deep red. These colors were associated with the supernatural and the occult and were believed to enhance a witch's power. Additionally, the use of these colors helped witches blend into the shadows and embrace the mysterious nature of their craft.

The first three to be accused of witchcraft in 1692 – Tituba, Sarah Osborne (alternate spellings Osburn, Osborn, Osbourne), and Sarah Good were scheduled to be examined here on March 1, but so many people turned up to witness the event that it had to be moved down the road to the meetinghouse to accommodate the crowd. Nevertheless, the attendees spent lots of money for tavern refreshments that day – on food, cider, and rum.

The Endecott Pear Tree, which still stands, was planted in its current location by Endecott between 1632 and 1649, and is thought to have been brought from England on the Arabella in 1630. Additionally, the use of these colors helped witches blend into the shadows and embrace the mysterious nature of their craft. Another significant aspect of ancient witch raiment was the incorporation of various symbols and patterns. These symbols often had deep spiritual or mystical meanings and were used to invoke specific energies or protect the wearer.

Jade Harvester Witch Doctor Guide

Raiment of the Jade Harvester was one of the best Witch Doctor builds at Reaper of Souls release. It has its own unique playstyle as it revolves around harvesting Damage over Time (DoT) skills to deal instant damage.

The main skill that is played is Haunt in combination with Soul Harvest to instantly consume the DoT effect left on enemies. These effects are further enhanced by Creeping Death and Quetzalcoatl .

These days it's not one of the strongest builds for the Witch Doctor, but it has a long history of being one of the most powerful sets in the entire game back from the times before seasons were released. Back then it was heavily used in T6 farming for its massive burst damage potential to oneshot Elites with Soul Harvest and quickly kill Rift Guardians with the help of Legacy The Furnace and its Crushing Blow ability.

Over time it has fallen behind other Witch Doctor builds but got updates that made it stronger with a more active playstyle by giving Haunt the ability to deal extra damage on reapplication, effectively turning it into a spammable damaging skill.

This is an Area Damage (AD) build, since Jade ( 2 ) & ( 6 ) Bonuses can both proc it. In its current form, Jade Harvester is playable with both Cold (faster setup) and Poison (higher damage) with almost equal performance. Near the top end of the Jade leaderboards you will usually find Poisoned Spirit more often, but Resentful Spirits allows for faster pull setups and is better for farming. Both variants can be found below. Let's get into it!

Ancient witch raiment

Common symbols found on witch raiment included pentagrams, crescent moons, stars, and various runes. Witches in ancient times also adorned themselves with a wide range of accessories. These could include hats, capes, scarves, and jewelry. Hats were especially important, as they were believed to assist in channeling magic and connecting with the spiritual realm. Pointed hats, in particular, became synonymous with witches and continue to be a popular symbol in modern depictions of witches. Additionally, witches would often carry specific tools or items with them, tied to their magical practices. These could include wands, brooms, potions, and spell books. These tools were not only functional but were also seen as extensions of the witch's power. The ancient witch raiment played a crucial role in the rituals and ceremonies performed by witches. The garments helped create an atmosphere of mysticism and allowed the witch to connect with the spiritual forces they sought to harness. They also served as a visual representation of the witch's power and were a way for them to differentiate themselves from society. In modern times, the concept of ancient witch raiment continues to be influential, particularly in pop culture and Halloween costumes. Many people still associate witches with the black, pointy hats and flowing cloaks seen in ancient depictions. However, it is important to remember that the actual clothing worn by witches in ancient times likely varied greatly depending on the specific culture and era..
