It depends on what you want - more defense/strength, or more magic power. Same with the weapon - do you want to attack, or do you want to better cast spells? You can configure it the way you like in a given situation.

Should i keep using robes? o should i change to heavy armor for better def? Tough situation considering youre sub is time mage. Mystic armor boosts your magick power and MP far more than any rod, but your damage will suffer without good strength. If you can find yourself a Sages Ring, you wont have to worry about it too much, half MP use.
