The second column is designed to hold information about the rarity or quality of the talismans, which helps players prioritize their collection and focus on acquiring the most powerful talismans. The next set of columns is dedicated to categorizing the different attributes of the talismans. These columns allow players to enter information about the specific abilities or effects provided by each talisman.
How to Farm Talismans
Farm Normal and Mighty Kemono
Talismans can drop from both Normal and Mighty Kemono so farming them will be a viable strategy for getting a few usable ones for your build. However, do note that the drops vary per kemono meaning players will need to target different hunts if they want certain skills for their talismans.
Note: The values attached to talisman skills do not really vary depending on the hunt's difficulty (normal vs. mighty). This means that you're better off farming Normals and Mighties over the Volatile variants you find during Chapter 5.
Complete Visitor Requests in Minato
Visitor requests from other players in your Minato will reward players with talismans that have a high chance of rolling a weapon-related skill. Target this type of hunt in order to acquire a talisman that has a skill which modifies your build's weapon.
Return to Your Minato After Completing the Hunt to Reset the Request
Since Visitor Requests are limited per day, you can keep re-doing a particular request by Returning to Your Minato at the end of the hunt. Instead of waiting for the countdown to end, open the Menu and select the option to return to your Minato. This ends the session, allowing you to speak to the same visitor in your Minato to redo the hunt for another talisman roll.
Hunt Deeply Volatile Kemono
Like Visitor Requests, Deeply Volatile Kemono hunts guarantee a talisman drop upon completion. However, do note that these hunts will be much more difficult. With only one life to play with and a 20-minute time limit, Deeply Volatile hunts should be your last resort when farming talismans simply due to the risk vs. reward factor.
Seek Out Relic Talismans
Alternatively, players can seek out the different Relic Talismans that spawn across all the regions of Azuma. They will be found in hard-to-reach or hidden locations, taking the form of a sheathed katana that you can collect. Relic Talismans will have fixed perks, allowing players to default to them if they have yet to find the right talisman for their current build.
For example, one column may be used to indicate the talisman's attack bonus, while another column may be used to track its defense bonus. These attributes can be customized based on the specific game mechanics and characteristics of talismans in Wild Hearts. In addition to the attribute columns, the spreadsheet also includes columns for tracking the level and upgrade status of each talisman. This allows players to easily monitor their progress in improving their talismans and making them more powerful.
