The History and Origins of Wiccan Magic

By admin

Wicca is a modern pagan, witchcraft religion that emerged in the mid-20th century. Wiccan beliefs center around reverence for nature, practicing magic, and celebrating seasonal cycles. Within Wicca, magic is seen as a means of connecting with spiritual energies and influencing the world. In Wicca, magic is known as magick, with the k added to differentiate it from stage magic or illusions. Magick is considered a natural force that can be tapped into through rituals, spells, and other practices. Wiccans believe that everyone has the ability to perform magic, as it is seen as a natural extension of our connection to the divine and the universe.

I’m not a fan of massage bars, I prefer massage oils instead. I have been using the Weleda Lavender Massage oil that a friend got for me.

However, the Wiccy Massage bar is slightly different because unlike other bars, it does not moisturise, but aims at soothing the tired nerves. One side of the massage bar is covered with Aduki Beans and what you need to do is apply the massage bar and gently rub the affected area with the aduki beans. When the bar is fairly new, you can apply a teeny bit of pressure to get a better massage with the beans and it relaxes for a while mainly because the cooling peppermint is nice and tingly on your skin.

What I like about the massage bar is the fragrance. Being an Indian, I love my spices. And this massage bar gives out a wonderful aroma of cinnamon and peppermint. Though the predominant fragrance is of peppermint, when you warm this bar in your palms, you get the gentle fragrance of cinnamon. I love it!

What I don’t like about the bar is that it does not live up to the claims. After a couple of uses, the bar tends to crumble into pieces. If you notice my bar is just on the verge of breaking up, its become quite thin with the usage.

Price and Shelf life

My husband got this for me from one of his trips and I don’t remember how much it cost there. In India it costs INR 720 for a 70gm bar

Finally, something that you can buy in India too 🙂 You can buy this here.

How to use
This is not a massage bar that can be used as a moisturiser. It claims to provide relief to aching muscles. Use it on your feet, base of the neck. The warming effect of the cinnamon oils and cool effect of the peppermint is bound to relax you.

As with all massage bar, store it in the fride ( not the freezer!) When you want to use it, hold it between your hands for a few seconds and it will begin to melt. Apply the massage bar over the affected areas. Massage bars melt at body temperature, keep yours somewhere cool, dry, and out of direct sunlight.

Will I recommend this?

No, I did not quite like it. It wasn’t much use to the tired nerves. Yes, it does have a tingling sensation because of the peppermint and then it slowly warms the area where you applied it because of the cinnamon oil, but the entire effect lasts for barely 10 – 15 minutes. A massage oil is bound to be more relaxing.

FEATURES
A real strain: Inspiring runners and non-runners around the world to pull a muscle.
Feeling kneady? Use the side buttered with aduki beans for an extra stimulating experience.
Some like it hot: Cinnamon leaf oil is a brownish-yellow oil, which has a warm, rich and spicy aroma.

What is this?

Lush says, Wiccy is a “spicy, tingly muscle-soothing bar with aduki beans for a deeper rub. The Wiccy Magic Muscles Bar is the one for sorting out aching muscles. The first time you use one of these, it feels very strange, as if a very small radiator has been turned on inside the part of your body you just massaged. The Aduki beans are like firm fingertips working to relieve muscle pain and tension. They help to stimulate areas where circulation is slow. Peppermint and cinnamon spice oils work together as a powerful tag team to soothe aches and pains, alternately warm and cool to release tension caused by exertion.

I don’t mine will last too long anyway now! When it crumbles, the mix of the beads and the bar gets absolutely messy.

don’t think it’s worth it at all

The only thing I have loved in the boxes till now is the TBS hair oil and the lip balm they sent in the Feb box. And well, I still prefer the Omved lip balms to the Figgs and Rouge one 🙂

Yes, the figs and rouge melt really easily in India. Mind is squishy and very unpleasant.

You nailed the word- squishy! it is quite icky to the touch.

Wiccans often perform rituals or spells during specific moon phases, such as the full moon or new moon, as these are believed to be times when magical energy is heightened. Another form of magic practiced in Wicca is known as herbal magic. Wiccans believe that plants possess magical properties and can be used for healing, divination, and other magical purposes. Wiccans often create potions, incense, or charms using specific herbs to harness their magical energy. Sigil magic is another common practice in Wicca. Sigils are symbols that are created to represent a specific intention or desire. Wiccans believe that sigils can be charged with energy and used to manifest their desired outcome. Sigils can be drawn, carved, or even burned into various materials to activate their magical properties. In addition to these specific forms of magic, Wiccans may also practice other types of divination, such as tarot reading or scrying, to gain insight and guidance from spiritual forces. They may also work with crystals, candles, or other magical tools to enhance their rituals and spells. It is important to note that Wiccans emphasize ethical guidelines when practicing magic. The principle of "harm none" or "do no harm" is central to Wiccan belief, and Wiccans are encouraged to use magic responsibly and for the greater good. Wiccans believe in the threefold law, which states that any energy or intention sent out into the world will be returned to the sender threefold. Overall, Wiccan magic is a practice that combines spirituality, nature reverence, and the belief in harnessing magical energies to manifest positive outcomes. It is a deeply personal and individual practice that allows individuals to connect with the divine and the natural world..

Reviews for "Wiccan Magic: Tapping into the Elements"

1. Samantha - 2/5 - I was really disappointed with Wiccy Magic Miracles. I had heard so much hype about it and was excited to try it out. However, the product did not live up to my expectations at all. The scent was overpowering and gave me a headache. Additionally, the texture was too rough on my skin and left it feeling irritated. I also did not notice any significant improvements in my skin's appearance or texture. Overall, I won't be repurchasing Wiccy Magic Miracles and would not recommend it to others.
2. Tom - 1/5 - I have to say, Wiccy Magic Miracles was a complete waste of my money. The product smelled strange, almost like a mix of old herbs and chemicals. It also left a greasy residue on my skin that took forever to absorb. But the worst part was that it caused me to break out in an itchy rash. I have never had a reaction like this to a skincare product before. I immediately stopped using it and had to treat my skin to get rid of the irritation. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of Wiccy Magic Miracles.
3. Emily - 2/5 - I initially got excited about Wiccy Magic Miracles because of the claims it made about reducing cellulite and stretch marks. However, after using it consistently for several weeks, I saw no noticeable difference in either of these areas. The product also had a strange warming sensation upon application, which was uncomfortable and did not seem to have any benefits. Additionally, the price point is quite high for a product that did not deliver on its promises. Save your money and look for something else if you're hoping for real results.
