Wicca is a modern pagan, witchcraft religion that follows a calendar called the Wicca Wheel. This calendar is based on the cycles of the moon and the seasons of the year. The Wicca Wheel consists of eight festivals or Sabbats. These Sabbats are divided into two groups - the four Lesser Sabbats and the four Greater Sabbats. The Lesser Sabbats are also known as the solstices and equinoxes, which mark the changing of the seasons. They are called Imbolc, Ostara, Litha, and Mabon.
