Viva Aerobus (VB) allows passengers to transport their cat or dog in the cabin only. There is a limit of one pet per passenger and three pets per flight, so you should book in advance to guarantee your pet a spot onboard.
Does my animal qualify to travel in the cabin?
Your animal and carrier together must not exceed 10 kg. The kennel must be placed under the seat in front of you for the duration of the flight, and the animal may not leave the carrier at any point during the flight. Your animal must be at least 8 weeks old.
What are the kennel requirements?
The kennel must be non-ridged, soft and designed for use in an aircraft. It cannot exceed 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm. The animal must be able to stand and turn comfortably. The kennel must be lined with sufficient absorbent padding to prevent leakage
What health documentation is required?
For domestic flights, passengers must travel with the animal's current immunization record. This record must show the animal has recieved both a deworming treatment and rabies vaccine.

As well, passengers must travel with a certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian at most five days prior to departure stating that your animal is fit to fly.

I had the most awful experience with Vivaaerobus when I traveled with my pet. I booked a flight specifically because they advertised themselves as being pet-friendly. However, when I arrived at the airport, they told me that my pet couldn't travel with me in the cabin. They made me check my pet in as cargo, which was not only stressful for me but also for my furry friend. The staff was rude and unhelpful, with no empathy for the situation. I will never fly with Vivaaerobus again.

I recently flew with Vivaaerobus and brought my pet along. The experience was far from satisfactory. The airline charged an exorbitant fee for traveling with my pet, far more than what other airlines charge. On top of that, they didn't provide any facilities or designated areas for pets to relieve themselves before the flight. The staff was unhelpful when I asked about this, and they weren't accommodating at all. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won't choose Vivaaerobus for pet travel again.
