The dessert bar is actually not a bakery, as it outsources baked goods from other (unnamed) places, but offered a colorful space made for Instagram photos.

Unicorn Magical Dessert Bar first opened in Dallas, where it encountered a number of problems including a mold-filled cake pop, massive lines with no seating, dismal reviews, and other issues.

A second location of Unicorn opened in Houston in February of this year, while that Dallas location closed in April ostensibly to expand, though it doesn’t seem like that happened. An expansion to Santa Monica also never materialized.

Update, November 25: This article has been updated to reflect that Unicorn has closed.
