We were relentless all night. For the first time of the year, we beat (James) Reimer. He’s had our number both games. Finally, it fell tonight and it feels good.” Reimer had stolen the show in the first two meetings, saving a combined 77 of 79 shots before allowing six through the wickets on 33 on Monday. Winnipeg’s offensive resurgence, which produced 21 goals during their five-game homestand, prevented the season sweep by the Sharks. More importantly, it vaulted the Jets to the precipice of a mid-April whiteout in downtown Winnipeg.
