While I do feel like the plot and characters echo familiarly as they re likely to be recognizable in other stories too , it didn t deter my enjoyment. Her writing really suited the snappy pace and provided just enough description and context for readers to have a strong idea of the world, the characters and the relationships.

He is a powerful magician with the ability to travel between the three different Londons: Red London, where magic is balanced and thriving; White London, where magic is dying and corrupted; and Grey London, where magic is almost nonexistent. Throughout the trilogy, Kell finds himself caught up in a dangerous and magical adventure.
