Supercharge Your Visualization Practice with the Magic Check

By admin

The magic check is not a typical check you write to pay for something. It is a tool or technique used in the practice of manifestation and the law of attraction. The concept behind the magic check is to write a symbolic check to yourself for a desired amount of money or any other goal you want to manifest into your life. To create a magic check, you start by writing the current date on the check. Next, you write your name as the recipient and fill in the desired amount you want to manifest. This can be a specific amount or a more general goal.

The Magic - Day 17

Let's make magic with the force of gratitude. Join me by practicing daily gratitude.

Practice 17

Today's Practice: 1. Print/Save a Magic Check. 2. Think of something specific that you would like, it is recommended to start small. 3. Determine how much it will cost. 4. Write out the check from and keep it with you. 5. Look at it a couple times during the day and be grateful as if you have already received it.

This practice started off very well for me! I saw I had to copy or print something on the printer and I got a little weary. Our printer is very finicky and I haven't printed something on it in months! I decided that wasn't going to stop me from trying and so I did. It only took one reset to get it to scan and print! That's a record!

Anyway so I printed the check and decided I would start small. This is a totally domesticated request but I want one of those 4 section laundry sorters! When we move into our new place we will be Airbnbing our basement and will share laundry machines with our guests. This sorter would be great for us because we can pre-sort as we dirty clothes and you can see which one is getting full fastest. Win-win!

Now you want one too huh?! Here is the one I wrote my check for: Pretty cool huh! So obviously I then wrote my check for the amount I saw online.

I held the check in my hand and imagined what it would be like to have that. My imagination went wild. I was in our duplex moved in with the laundry basket at the back of the closet (walk-in closet) and I was at the door making hoops! It felt good!

Now I get to take it with me today and stick it in the back of my phone and pull it out a couple of times today and check it out!

What is "The Magic"

"The Magic" is a book by Rhonda Byrne. She is very well known for her book the secret. Essentially "The Magic" is a workbook to put into action the ideas behind the secret.

I highly recommend everybody have a copy of this book on their shelves. It is great if you just need a little inspiration to show some gratitude. I would highly recommend anything by Rhonda Byrne, her books and the secret books in general are easy to read and have great content about the law of attraction and gratitude.

You can get your own copy here. Please check out Rhonda Byrne as she is an awesome author and very inspiring.

Gratitude

This entire series of posts will be all about gratitude. Today I am grateful for this process. Eliezer and I were talking this morning and yesterday about how well this week and this year are going. We are both busy in our careers and doing well, the printer worked and we discussed other good things. As we were discussing we came to the conclusion that we had been taking more time to recognize the things happening and how grateful we were. The book calls it Magic, you probably call it something else but what matters is the feeling. The feeling of gratitude in itself is a powerful and the simple task of recognizing it is life changing. We were both grateful to feel this way and are happy we are looking at life through a grateful perspective.

Gratitude Challenge Day 17 - Magic Check

"In the magical universe there are no coincidences and there are no accidents. Nothing happens unless someone wills it to happen." - William S. Burroughs Today's challenge is another one of my favorites! This comes from from the practice from The Secret book series. When you direct gratitude's power toward any negative condition, a new condition is created, eliminating the old condition. The goal is to get yourself to a place where you feel gratefulfor money more than you feel lack of money, when that happens, a new condition is created, eliminating lack of money and replacing it with more money. Whenever we have a bad feeling towards money, we push it away from us and reduce the amount we have in our lives. Remember, we're talkinga bout the law of atttraction and gratitude. WIth gratitude, you're giving thanks for something good tht you want in order to receive more of it. If you are giving off feelings of worry with money; you will only receive more situations to worry about money. If you are feaful about the state of your money, you will receive more circumstances that cause you fear about your money. It is almost like a game you must play ini your mind. No matter what your current money situation is, you must ignore any bad feeling you have and replace them with gratitude. Do it until it become true, and continue to practice gratitude every time you receive an increase in money. If you remember back to day 10, we already practiced being grateful for the money we received and continue to receive. We must continue this practice and feel grateful when we receive any monetray amount in order to keep the flow. Money comes to us in so many different ways. It can come from an increase in salary, a lottery win, a tax refund, an unexpected check from someone. It can also come from a lunch or coffee, when someone picks up the bill. Just two nights ago, I went to a hockey game and the parking attendant said that the person in front of us paid for our entry and parking. That's an example little unexpected moment where you should be grateful for the money you received. Even though it's in a different form than just cash given to you. Be extremely grateful for those moments, big or small. It's highly likely you've experienced moments like these listed above. Whether you realized it or not, you were in a state of gratitude and when we are in that state, so many unexpected things are attracted to us. People call it luck, but it's not. It's a universal law of like attracting like. The actual challenge today is something fun. You are going to write yourself a "magic" check. There's a template you can print out and use, or some people use an actual check. You are going to make the check out to yourself in a specific amount for something you want. The reason we are making it out for an amount of something specific is because money is just a way for you to get the thing you really want. You need to actually visualize what you want when you hold this check. So that's why it needs to be a specific amount for something you've been dreaming of. Once you've filled out your check, hold it in your hands and imagine how you received this check. Did it come in the mail? Did someone give it to you? Imagine how you felt when you received this money. What did you do, did you call someone to tell them the news? Hold it in your hand and imagine purchasing whatever it is you are going to spend this money on. Be excited and grateful. Imagine every little detail. I love the story of Jim Carrey and how he used visualization by writing himself a check when he was broke and looking for acting gigs. He wrote himself a check for $10 million for acting services rendered and dated it 3 years out from when he wrote it. Take a listen to him talking about it during his interview with Oprah. This just proves how visualization, gratitude and the power of attracting what you want happens. Because you are sending out positive feelings and continuing to work towards what you want it will come to you. If he wasn't putting it out there in the universe, he probably would have never realized this dream. Keep your check somewhere you will see it often -- on your refrigerator, by your bedside, in your car. Whenever you see it, think about how you received it and be grateful for the money. Your checklist for today: 1. Make your gratitude list of 10 things you are grateful for and why. Read each item on your list and after you read each one say thank you, thank you, thank you. 2. Fill out your magic check and hold it in your hands and imagine how you received this check and what you are going to use it for. Be extremely grateful for receiving the money. 3. Before you go to sleep tonight, pick up your gratitude object and think about all the good things that happened during your day today. Think of the best thing that happened and say thank you!

This can be a specific amount or a more general goal. After completing the check, you can take a moment to visualize and feel as if you have already received the money or achieved your goal. The magic check is not meant to be taken literally as a way to receive money or possessions instantly.

The magic check

It serves as a powerful visual representation of your intentions and desires. By writing the check and putting it in a visible place, such as on your desk or refrigerator, you are reminding yourself of your goals and reinforcing the belief that they are possible to achieve. Many people have reported success and positive results in their lives through the use of magic checks. The act of writing down your aspirations and visualizing them can help to align your thoughts, beliefs, and actions with what you want to manifest. However, it is important to note that the magic check is just a tool and not a guarantee of immediate success. The magic check serves as a tool to help you focus your energy and attention on your desires, but the real power lies within you and your determination to make them come true. In conclusion, the magic check is a simple but powerful technique for manifestation and the law of attraction.
