2022 Coca-Cola July 4th Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — June 30, 2022 — In honor of the July 4 th Holiday, Six Flags Magic Mountain, the “Thrill Capital of the World,” celebrates the red, white and blue with patriotic festivities on July 2-4. Coca-Cola July 4 th Fest will feature live music, limited-time culinary delights, a dazzling fireworks and laser extravaganza, and your favorite collection of world-class coasters.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting three days of July 4 th Fest, our favorite summer event. We’re offering entertainment for the entire family, including a nightly fireworks display, and all-American thrills,” said Park President Don McCoy. “We are proud to present this event to celebrate our country’s Independence Day, to display our American pride, and bring families and friends together for some summer fun,” he added.
Six Flags Magic Mountain is proud to present park-wide entertainment each day including:
- A nightly, show-stopping fireworks show spectacularly choreographed to patriotic music at 9:15pm (viewed from the Main gate Plaza area and the Full Throttle Plaza);
- The Coca-Cola “Sounds of Summer” zone, powered by Coke Studio, featuring a live DJ, an interactive photo booth, Coca-Cola sampling, games, and more;
- Live music and entertainment in the Full Throttle Plaza; and
- A refreshingly new Patriotic Punch beverage, available for a limited time; and
The Patriotic Punch, a blend of Sprite, blue raspberry syrup, and shimmering glitter, will be served in a special edition cup with a rock candy stirrer. It will be available for purchase exclusively at Six Flags for a limited time during Coca-Cola July 4th Fest. It’s the perfect patriotic refreshment to top off a day of thrills and fun while celebrating Independence Day at Six Flags.
The highlight of this new menu is definitely the Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese. This creamy mac is mixed with diced peppers and onion, and comes laid on a bed of crunchy golden tater tots. It is warm and gooey, crunchy, and full of flavor. (All items are $8 a la carte)

I was really disappointed with my experience at Six Flags Magic Mountain on the 4th of July. The park was extremely overcrowded, making it difficult to enjoy any of the rides or attractions. The lines were outrageously long and it felt like we spent more time waiting than actually having fun. Additionally, I found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. It seemed like they were overwhelmed with the large crowds and didn't take the time to ensure a positive experience for visitors. Overall, I would not recommend visiting the park on a busy holiday like the 4th of July.

My family and I were excited to spend the 4th of July at Six Flags Magic Mountain, but it turned out to be a disappointment. The park was poorly organized, with hardly any signage or staff members providing clear directions. It was difficult to navigate through the park and find the rides we wanted to go on. Moreover, the food options were limited and overpriced. We spent a significant amount of money on food that was mediocre at best. The fireworks show was also underwhelming - it was short and lacked the wow factor. I've had better experiences at other amusement parks, so I wouldn't recommend visiting Six Flags Magic Mountain on the 4th of July.
