Shazam: Magic and Monsters is an animated superhero film based on the DC Comics character Shazam. The film continues the adventures of young Billy Batson, who can transform into the adult superhero Shazam with the help of a magical word. In this installment, Shazam and his superhero friends, known as the Shazam Family, must team up to defend their city from the forces of evil. The main antagonist of the film is Mister Mind, a super intelligent worm-like creature with telepathic abilities. The plot of Shazam: Magic and Monsters follows a similar structure to the previous live-action film, Shazam! (2019). Billy Batson, as Shazam, must balance his life as a superhero with his normal teenage activities, such as school and friends.
