The Intersection of Music and Witchcraft in Senior Mrs Witch's Song

By admin

Senior Mrs Witch is a song that captures the essence of aging with grace and humor. The song, written and performed by a talented group of senior citizens, celebrates the joys and challenges of growing older. The lyrics are filled with witty anecdotes and clever wordplay, all set to an upbeat and catchy tune. The main idea behind Senior Mrs Witch is to challenge society's stereotypes of aging and empower seniors to embrace their wisdom and experience. Throughout the song, the seniors poke fun at common misconceptions about getting older, such as forgetfulness and physical limitations. They use humor to combat these stereotypes and show that aging doesn't have to define a person's worth or abilities.

They use humor to combat these stereotypes and show that aging doesn't have to define a person's worth or abilities. In bold: The main message of Senior Mrs Witch is that old age should be celebrated and enjoyed, rather than feared or avoided. The song encourages seniors to live life to the fullest and embrace their unique quirks and abilities.

Mr. Magic (Through the Smoke)

Mr. Magic is code for weed in this song! -you always give me a stress free point of view (weed relaxes her) -pick you up after school (picking up bud from your dealer after school) -take a token (practically sounds like take a toke) Lyric correction: to me it sounds like, "blue without my green" instead of "blue with a migraine" which would make more sense, she's saying she's sad when she has no weed to smoke. and c'mon, we all know songs sound like the shit when you're high! damn Amy's so creative, this is such a bomb ass metaphor

"but it's just to you through", i think it's "burn the tip to get you through", when you burn the roach to get the last bit of weed

very good song , a bit funny too, sometimes I think of it as of the song sung by a weed smoker. she 's high, dreaming about a perfect lover, whom she's seeing through the "smoke" ;) she believes he's true , and is waiting for the smoke to clear. but when it fades. :DDD ok that's just what I thought once, the song is great

The lyrics aren't printed in the liner notes, so I'm just guessing, but it sounds like "Take a toke (and) all my love." Also, I agree that it sounds like "blue without my green." Definitely a song about weed. Lovely lyrics and tune.

I just saw a video of her singing this on YouTube and the lyrics are much easier to understand. She says "I'm blue without my green." And she definitely is singing "Take a toke, and all my love." There are no credits for this song in the liner notes, so I thought she wrote it, but apparently it's not original to her. Someone on YouTube said she wrote the lyrics, but I'm skeptical. You know how much misinformation is on the net!

Definitely about the love of weed. 'Blue with a migraine' were the censored lyrics it's actually 'blue without my green', Green being slang for cannabis! x

The song is definitely an amy original. roberta flak? has a credit for a song same name, different song. And if there's any doubt of the meaning. check out addicted. Amy was not afraid to sing of her live for the green. shes just genius at couching her double meanings. Genius

venusataniaon May 12, 2014 Link 0 General Comment Can "blue without my green" also be a reference to "Blue in green"? Miles Davis, anyone? Robbie Brownon October 21, 2018 Link
