The family pumpkin decorating contest welcomes families to share their favorite movie or book in carved-pumpkin form. Other pumpkin fun includes the Pumpkin Olympics, which has pumpkin pushing, mummy wrapping, spider hunting and eyeball relay events.

Ride Choo Choo Express

Children 8 years and younger love the Choo Choo Express, a train that takes them through Grove Park. The train cars are powered by a riding lawn mower, providing a fun and calm ride for little ones. Older kids and adults should take a hayrides to see the area.

Sea Witch Festival, Halloween, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Annual Event, vendors, Music, Parades, Monsters on Parade, Southern Delaware, Delaware Beaches

A beautiful weekend after the rain and wind event in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The Sea Witch Festival went on and my favorite day was Sunday with the Monsters on Parade taking place on the Boardwalk. Tons of competitors and a very well behave group of dogs.

There was music at the Bandstand and plenty of vendors too.

People in costumes and these two were my favorites.

Plan for next year. For me will be making a reservation at The Boardwalk Plaza for outdoor seating on the Boardwalk to sip Bloody Marys as the parade passes by.

Great to see so many smiling faces. This is the way it should be.

Love this time of the year. Have a great day.

Reviews for "Sea and Sand: Combining Beach Fun with the Sea Witch Festival"

1. Karen Johnson - 1 star - The Sea Witch Festival in Rehoboth Beach was a complete disappointment. The entire event felt disorganized and chaotic. The advertised activities were nowhere to be found, and the few that were available had long lines and were not worth the wait. The event lacked proper signage and direction, making it difficult to navigate and find the various attractions. Overall, I expected much more from a festival that claims to be a premier Halloween event. Save your money and find a different festival to attend.
2. David Thompson - 2 stars - I was really looking forward to the Sea Witch Festival in Rehoboth Beach, but it ended up being a letdown. The crowds were overwhelming, and it felt more like a mob scene than a festive celebration. The lack of organization was evident everywhere, from the parking situation to the lines for the food vendors. I also felt like the event was geared more towards children, with not much to offer for adults. I would recommend going to a smaller, more manageable Halloween event instead.
3. Samantha Roberts - 1 star - My experience at the Sea Witch Festival was nothing short of a nightmare. The event was overcrowded, with people pushing and shoving to get a glimpse of the supposed attractions. The lack of security and safety measures was alarming, as I witnessed multiple fights break out in the sea of people. The advertised parade was a letdown, lasting only a few minutes and lacking any real entertainment value. Overall, I would not recommend this festival to anyone looking for a pleasant and enjoyable Halloween experience.
