Experience the Joy of Flying a Remote Control Witch

By admin

The concept of a remote control flying witch is a fascinating one, combining the elements of fantasy and technology. A flying witch is already a well-known character in folklore and popular culture, often depicted as riding on a broomstick through the night sky. But the idea of controlling this witch remotely takes it to a whole new level. Imagine being able to navigate this flying witch from the comfort of your own home or any location of your choice. The witch could soar through the air, performing impressive maneuvers and tricks at the push of a button. This remote control device would provide an incredible sense of power and control as you command the witch to perform various tasks or simply enjoy the thrill of flying.

While the concept of a remote control flying witch may seem like something out of a fantasy novel, advancements in technology have made it more possible than ever before. With the development of drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, it is not difficult to imagine a similar device that resembles a witch, complete with a broomstick and a flowing cloak.

Expert model aircraft builder Otto Dieffenbach has a creative array of flying machines in his hangar — a Tardis, Snoopy on his doghouse, R2D2, and more. But none capture the spookiness of the autumn season like his flying witch — a life-size sorceress flying on a broom high in the skies.

Otto debuted this particular build in 2013, with videos of it flying over a bright full moon above the San Diego skyline, and a full build log for those who might want to replicate the craft. The witch largely consists of flat Depron pieces held together with an internal frame, with linkages to control lift (via the cape) and steering (via the broom “bristles”). Propulsion comes from a brushless electric motor with a 10-inch propellor. Flying through the sky, the 3D effect is convincing — Halloween is here.

While you might be tempted to jump in and create your own, be warned that his notes state “This is a difficult build and should not be attempted by a newcomer to the hobby. There is a lot of wood work involved. You may want to find a friend with superior build skills if you are a newcomer.” However, Otto also sells as ready-to-fly version for $1850 on his site.

Otto tells us he’s working on a Mary Poppins build now. Keep your eyes peeled for that soon.

- Emily - 2 out of 5 stars - I was really excited when I got the remote control flying witch, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The instructions were really unclear and it was difficult to figure out how to control it properly. The witch would constantly crash into walls and furniture, and after just a few uses, it stopped working altogether. I was really hoping for a fun Halloween decoration, but this just ended up being a waste of money.
- John - 1 out of 5 stars - This remote control flying witch was a complete disaster. First of all, it was extremely difficult to assemble. The pieces didn't fit properly and the instructions were confusing. Even after spending hours trying to put it together, the witch didn't fly properly. It would just hover in one spot and then fall down. The battery life was also incredibly short, lasting only a few minutes. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone.
- Sarah - 3 out of 5 stars - The remote control flying witch had the potential to be a really cool Halloween decoration, but it fell short in a few areas. The controls were not very user-friendly, making it difficult to maneuver the witch properly. It was also quite fragile, as it broke after just a few crashes. Additionally, the battery life was disappointingly short. Despite these flaws, the witch did look pretty cool when it was flying properly.
