I bought the Rainbow Magic Reading Level 1 book for my 5-year-old daughter in hopes of helping her learn to read. However, I was disappointed with the book. The sentences were too complex and difficult for her to understand. The vocabulary was also too advanced for a beginner reader. I found myself having to constantly explain the words and sentences to her, which defeated the purpose of the book. I would not recommend this book for young readers who are just starting out.
