Overall, I found it to be a forgettable experience and wouldn't recommend it to others.

The author seemed more interested in showcasing their own knowledge of pagan mythology than in telling an engaging story. I forced myself to finish it, hoping it would get better, but I was sorely disappointed. I won't be reading anything else by this author.
