Today, supine on the swooning couch, I am watching the recent Personal Cards class from the 2019 Pull Pen Paint class(run by Kiala Givehand). I had to laugh when Kiala talked about her resistance in to her Chariot personality and soul card, because I’m experiencing exactly the same thing with my Personality and Soul Card – The Empress. Nooooo! I want the Star, or the High Priestess. At least give me the Magician! But yeah, I am the Empress. Not only am I the matriarch of my family now, but small children and all animals come to me. I find myself talking to babies. Toddlers invite themselves to sit at my lunch table(recently a toddler came over to see what I was doing with Tombow Pens, my journal, and a set of tarot cards, and said: “I halp”. So I gave her a biro, a few blank sheets of paper, and five of my business cards. She kept checking what I was doing, and copying. When my lunch arrived, she helped herself to the fries, and all the ketchup), and I have not only two adult children, but a number of adult pseudo-daughters who have found their own mothers not to their taste. I am grandma, too. Plus, I nurture others’ creativity, and am always pregnant with my next 40 creative ideas(follow through not so great). I recently attended a college football game where the Nississippi State Bulldogs mascot made an appearance. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the mascot. The costume looked worn out and cheap, and it didn't resemble a bulldog at all. The movements of the mascot were awkward and clumsy, which took away from the overall entertainment value. I expected a more professional and engaging mascot experience, but this one fell flat.
