Magical Mirai is an annual event in Japan that showcases the talent and creativity of Hatsune Miku, a virtual idol developed by Crypton Future Media. The event features various performances, exhibitions, and merchandise related to Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloid characters. In 2019, Magical Mirai took place from August 30th to September 1st at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba. This included the Miku Museum, which showcased artwork and memorabilia related to Hatsune Miku, and the AR Live Stage, where fans could use their smartphones to interact with virtual versions of the Vocaloid characters. Magical Mirai 2019 also featured a merchandise area where fans could purchase exclusive items such as plush toys, clothing, and CDs. The event attracted a large number of attendees, both local and international, who eagerly lined up to get their hands on limited-edition merchandise. I was really disappointed with Magical Mirai 2019. The concert felt like a mess, with poor sound quality and a lack of cohesion between the songs. The setlist was also pretty underwhelming, with a mix of forgettable tracks and songs that were overplayed. The lack of variety and originality left me feeling bored throughout the show. Additionally, I found the stage production to be lackluster and not as visually stunning as I expected. Overall, Magical Mirai 2019 failed to live up to the hype for me.
