Are You Overpaying for Magic Nails? Here's How to Find Out

By admin

Magical nails, also known as nail art, have gained immense popularity in recent years. These intricate designs and creative patterns can be seen adorning the nails of celebrities, models, and fashion enthusiasts all around the world. The prices vary depending on factors such as the complexity of the design, the skill of the nail artist, and the location. In general, there are two main types of magical nails: acrylic and gel. Acrylic nails are created by mixing a liquid monomer with a powdered polymer to form a paste-like substance that can be sculpted onto the nails. On the other hand, gel nails are formed from a gel-like substance that is applied to the nails and then cured under a UV or LED lamp.

The Raider's Talisman is a Pre-Hardmode rogue accessory. It is craftable as soon as the player is able to obtain Obsidian. Each time the player lands a stealth strike, non-stealth strike rogue hits have increased critical strike chance for the next five seconds. The bonus initially starts at 12% and linearly decays to 0% as the duration of the buff decreases.

Class specific accesories Carry the ones you ve had before, whilst you could add Melee A String if you re using a yoyo or Fungal Symbiote if you re using a true melee damage weapon. Now that you ve defeated the Slime Gods, you should get the Statigel Armor, as it can help out lots in the battle Whilst summoner could still stick to Bee Armor For the fight against the Wall of Flesh, you will need an arena that highly depends on your gamemode.

On the other hand, gel nails are formed from a gel-like substance that is applied to the nails and then cured under a UV or LED lamp. The prices for magical nails can range from affordable to quite expensive, depending on where you go. In some salons, you can find basic designs starting at around $20, while more intricate and elaborate designs can cost upwards of $100 or more.

Welcome to my first ever guide!
This guide might be based off the official wikipedia for Calamity mod, but what's not will probably be based off my own experience!
(Guide for normal mode)
This guide will cover pre-hardmode until the fight against Wall of Flesh, I will try on hardmode, and post Moon Lord once, if I will ever have the inspiration!

So, as every playthrough starts, I'd suggest getting some wood and building a couple of houses, after which I suggest roaming the world to find chests for loot and such, whilst also making sure you kill every Wulfrum Slime / Wulfrum Drone you can for armor and your class chosen weapon.
For my guide, I'll give weapons for all classes and so, whilst also mentioning atleast one of every class weapons for the bossfight I'm about to guide you through. So:
Your first boss will either be King Slime or Desert Scourge, entirely your choice, but I'll guide you through King Slime first, because of the official boss progression (https://calamitymod.gamepedia.com/Bosses).
King Slime is not a challenging fight, so Wulfrum armor + Wulfrum weapons should be enough to take it out, accesories are not really important, but can help out for people with a bit less experience.
If you're going for accesories, I'd recommend the Cloud in a Bottle. A hook can also be a great helper.
The fight doesn't quite need any kind of arena, but one can help.

Desert Scourge time!

So by this time, you should've farmed for Victide Bars deep in the underground desert to make Victide armor for your class, and the weapon, except if you're summoner, which then, the Squirrel Squire Staff is a pretty effective weapon for the bossfight.
The accesories effective for this bossfight are: Cloud in a Bottle, Hermes Boots, Amidias' Spark (Mostly for melee players, helpful for others).
And helpful but just possible without: Upgraded double jump or upgraded ordinary jump of any sort along with the Lucky Horseshoe
And if you've already been to the floating islands as a melee player, the Starfury could possibly be one really effective weapon, for melee users.
Without the additional accesories, an arena for the Desert Scourge can be very useful, usually a small one (With the first platform about 10 blocks off the ground, and every second one enough for you to be able to jump onto it) along with campfires should be a good one.

Eye of Cthulhu ~ preparation

The Eye of Cthulhu is a fairly easy bossfight with good preparations.
At this point in the game, with some mining, you probably have a fair amount of life crystals or so.
The bossfight could probably still easily be done with the use of Victide armor and some kind of weapon that can hit the eye from afar, Wulfrum or Victide weapons.
Starting with the arena, an arena similar to the one used for Desert Scourge should be really effective, except that making it longer could potentially make the bossfight easier.
The accesories used for this fights should be: Hermes Boots and Cloud in a Bottle
Class specific accesories include: any kind of String (if you're using melee yoyo)
Magic Cuffs, Celestial Cuffs (If you've already broken some Shadow Orbs) and Mana flower (mage)
Spirit Glyph and Wulfrum Battery (rogue)
Some useful classless accesories that might make the bossfight easier: Bundle of Balloons, Amidias' Spark.
For bossfights in general: Potions aren't important, but can make the bossfight a lot easier, buffs help a lot!
Remember Campfires on the arena!

Preparations, EoC aftermath and Crabulon

So now that you've defeated the Eye of Cthulhu, you should make the weapons now available to you.
After getting the weapons, a great idea is to go into your world's evil, visit the chasms and destroy Shadow Orbs or Crimson Hearts (Don't hesitate to destroy 3 and quickly recall before the boss attacks you!) to get the loot, get the chances of a Goblin Army and the chances of a Meteorite to fall onto your world.
So now with that out of the way, you're on to exploring the underground, you'll need to look for some kind of a (hopefully) big Glowing Mushroom biome, the spawn for Crabulon is made using 25 glowing mushroom on an anvil, so look around the biome for some (make sure to take out the ones in the abandoned house, if there is one!),
And so you've got the Decapotida Sprout.
Now, the armor made out of the Victide Bars should be decent enough to keep you alive through the fight, although a Diamond Robe combined with Jungle Pants and a Wizard hat for mage class and Obsidian armor or Gladiator armor for rogue class is better, although Victide armor is the easiest to obtain.
Accesories: something like the Sandstorm in a Bottle and Bundle of Balloons should be great, I do not recommend Hermes Boots, as they can make you run into a projectile easily, the Band of Regeneration can be great if your world is crimson, but the Band of Starpower is useful only if you're mage class.
For class special accesories:
Keep mostly the same as the ones for the Eye of Cthulhu for mage.
A great addition for rogue class would be the Raider's Talisman.
Weapons:
Melee: Bladecrest Oathsword or Riptide
Ranged: Minishark or Barinade
Mage: Acid Gun or Water Bolt (if lucky)
Summoner: Seabound Staff or Sun Spirit Staff
Rogue: Crystalline
The arena could be made in the Glowing Mushroom biome if the ceiling is high enough, but if not, you can either look for another, bigger one or make an artificial biome in the overworld (Which will also come in handy later!), and an arena similar to the one for the Desert Scourge should be effective (If made in an surface Glowing Mushroom biome), and one with about 3 lines of platforms on the top of the biome with about 6 space between each if fought in the underground.

The preparations for Brain of Cthulhu / Eater of Worlds

After you've defeated the Crabulon, you'll find yourself venturing deep into the chasms of your world evil.
Since Crabulon drops over 25 Glowing Mushrooms, you might want to farm it a bit until you get the weapon you're looking for (Crabulon drops one weapon for every class except 2 for rogue and expert only for summoner)
If needed, you might also want to farm Crabulon for some Lesser Healing Potions, its always smart to carry 30 around with you, no more to keep inventory space for other stuff.
Both Brain of Cthulhu and the Eater of Worlds could be fought inside the chasm with success, just cover the chasm with an arena that whose platforms have enough space between for you to jump from one to another, make sure to add regeneration stuff to the arena, such as campfire and so.
The accesories for both the bossfights should be: Hermes Boots, Cloud in a Bottle (or an upgraded version, which is better) and Band of Regeneration
Eater of Worlds specific accesories: Amidias Spark could help a lot
No specific accesories are needed to be mentioned in here for Brain of Cthulhu, but feel free to add some on your own, if you feel it may aid you in any way.
Class specific accesories should be carried over from the Crabulon bossfight.
Same goes for armor.
Although, remember, if you're mage, it would be useful to wait for a Meteorite to get the Meteorite armor along with the Space gun, Meteorite armor is quite important with the Space gun due to it lowering the mana usage of the Space Gun by 50% on Calamity mod.
Weapons for the Eater of Worlds:
Melee: Ball O' Hurt or possibly an autoswing blade
Ranged: Demon Bow or Platinum Bow with Jester Arrows, Musket or Harpoon
Mage: Vilethorn should make quick work of it, alternatively, Bee Gun
Summoner: Slime Staff is possible or the Squirrel Squire Staff
Rogue: Urchin Stingers or Wulfrum Knifes
Brain of Cthulhu:
Melee: Blood Butcherer or the strongest yoyo currently available to you
Ranged: Tendon Bow or The Undertaker
Mage: Space Gun (with Meteorite armor) or Crimson Rod
Summoner: Wulfrum Controller
Rogue: Crystalline or Seashell Boomerang
You'll start the bossfight, as we all know, by destroying a total of 3 Crimson Hearts / Shadow Orb.

Aftermath of EoW and BoC + preparationg for the Perforators / Hive mind

After defeating the Brain of Cthulhu or the Eater of Worlds, depending on your world evil, you should now have access to stuff such as Deathbringer Pickaxe / Nightmare Pickaxe along with Shadow armor / Crimson armor
By now, you should've taken the Meteorite, defeated a Goblin Army, had a trip to the underworld and have a decent amount of hp gained from Life Crystals.
Both the Perforators and the Hive Mind are found by killing an immobile entity found in the world evil (Beware that if you have the Crimson / Corruption lore with you, it will not spawn!).
For both of the fights you should have made an arena on the surface, as the one in Corruption is not big enough for the Hive Mind whilst the one in the Crimson lets the Perforators attack you from all 4 sides of your screen.
Yet, an arena copied from the Brain of Cthulhu fight should do well for both.
The accesories, once again, should be carried over from the past fights.
Class specific accesories:
Carry the ones you've had before, whilst you could add:
Melee: A String if you're using a yoyo or Fungal Symbiote if you're using a true melee damage weapon.
Ranged: Rusty Medallion
Summoner: The Voltaic Jelly is basically a must have at this point in the game
Rogue: The Sand Cloak could help a lot
Some classes could go with the universal armor (also known as their world evil armor), whilst:
Melee could have the Molten armor
Mage could have the Wizard Hat, Diamond Robe and Jungle Boots or the entire jungle set.
Rogue could get the Sulphurous armor
Your weapon choice would best be to have some kind of range, whilst close ranged one might do the fight:
Melee: Amidias' Trident for both Perforators and Hive Mind
Ranged: Pumpler or Aquashard shotgun should be used for the Hive Mind, whilst the Fungicide could take care of the Perforators
Mage: The Acid Gun or the Hyphae Rod could both easily destroy both the Hive Mind and the Perforators
Summoner: Magical Conch, Imp Staff and Cinder Blossom Staff could all easily take care of both the Hive Mind and the Perforators
Rogue: The Mycoroot is a great option whilst it would be smart to add Seafoam Boms and the Shroomerang against the Hive Mind, note that Shroomerang might help against the Perforators aswell

Aftermath, Aerialite Ore and Queen Bee

With Aerialite Ore blessing your world, for new weapons and armor and so, you should immediately go to mining it, while on it, getting full 400 hp wouldn't be a bad idea although not necessary, if you haven't already.
With Aerialite Ore mined, you will quite possibly need a Gravitation Potion to look for floating islands, you will want to find the Sky Mill in one of them, and take some Sunplate Blocks, Clouds, Rain Clouds and Feathers..
With that out of the way, I recommend crafting the Aerospec armor along with the weapon of your class.
Under any means, getting the Harpy Ring would be a great idea (even if you won't use it, getting it now so you don't have to deal with stronger enemies later is a good idea).
And now, you could venture deep into the Jungle, to look for a hive.
Although you've probably explored the Jungle already, and it was quite possible that you found a hive by now, since they aren't really rare, so with that out of the way, lets go onto the arena:
The arena for the Queen Bee could easily be made inside the hive, although if its a small arena, it would be better to find open space somewhere around the hive, modify it a bit and use it.
The arena should be the same as the one used for the Brain of Cthulhu, remember to add regeneration items such as campfires and so.
The accesories you're using should be the same as the ones before, once again, although if you've got the space, adding the Harpy Ring could be a good idea, due to Queen Bee's fast attacks, you will need mobility in this fight.
Class specific accesories:
Carry the ones you've got over, although you could add:
Rogue: Feather Crown
Weapons:
Melee: any kind of yoyo (along with a string and counterweight) should do the work
Ranged: The Toxibow or the Minishark should take quick work of the Queen Bee along with her summons
Mage: The Hyphae Rod is the best weapon for the Queen Bee as she can be damaged whilst dashing, but take a Diamond Staff with you when she's shooting projectiles / spawning her summons
Summoner: The Wulfrum Controller, although weak, can still be used for the fight, which, might make the fight lenghty, but the best choices are the Imp Staff or the Dank Staff / Blood Clot Staff
Rogue: The Mycoroot can quickly take care of her summons and damage her whilst she's spawning her summons or shooting projectiles, whilst the Rot Balls / Tooth Balls could be used for when she's dashing

Skeletron and Dungeon looting

With Queen Bee out of the way, there isn't much more stuff available to you, except you might have some good use out of the Bee Armor, if you're summoner.
With nothing much to do, you should attack the Skeletron, for the loot inside the Dungeon:
For the Skeletron, you should go with an arena similar to the one used for Queen Bee, whilst it having less rows of platforms probably won't hurt you
You should use the same accesories entirely for this fight, although you might get the Frostspark Boots as they can help out lots.
And, if you think you're able to, and are on Normal mode, a great idea is to get the Armageddon crafted at an altar and fight the Eye of Cthulhu under the effect of it, as the Shield of Cthulhu can help out a lot on this and the future fights, remember to turn it off afterwards.
Althought the bossfights are different, using everything the same could effectively defeat Skeletron, including weapons and so.
Whilst fighting Skeletron, make sure to take out its hands first, although still somehow managable on Normal mode, its pretty much a must do to take them out in Expert mode or even further.
Some kind of Grappling Hook and a Slimy Saddle should definitively be obtained by now as they can save one in dangerous situations.
Once you've defeated the Skeletron, you should immediately venture into the Dungeon, watch out for the traps and a lot of enemies all over the place, but with some care and decent weapons, you should have no bigger problem going through it.
In the Dungeon, you NEED the: Shadow Key
An useful accesory for further battles is the Cobalt Shield
Whilst you could also get your class' weapons, if the dungeon has them:
Blue Moon, Valor and Muramasa for melee
Handgun for ranged
Magic Missile and Aqua Scepter for mage.
You will also want to rescue the Mechanic out of the Dungeon.

Aftermath, weapons, exploration, arena.

After you've looted the Dungeon and got the Shadow Key and the other Golden Chest loot if you want it, you are about to prepare for The Slime God, a tough bossfight for new players, as it contains 3 boss AI's in one fight.
With that out of the way, you should go into the Abyss, you should get the Arctic Diving gear for that, since getting the weapon you want might take quite a while, underwater.
You will also want to wear light providing stuff such as the Crimson Heart / Shadow Orb and so.
In the Abyss, you will want to find the weapon inside the locked Shadow Chests that fits your class, since that is one of the best weapons for beating the Slime God.
A good idea is to build a house next to the Abyss with a bed in it, so if you die, you don't have to go all the way back.
Next on, you will start building the arena used for the Slime God, an arena commonly used is 3 lines of platforms, 1000 platforms each, with around 15 blocks space between each.
After you've done that, you have also now unlocked new accesories, you will want to make the Skyline Wings as they can be of great help against the Slime Gods, along with the Shield of Cthulhu.
You will need 400 hp at this point, except if you're decently experienced with the Slime Gods AI and are capable of taking them on with barely getting hit and so.
In the fight, you will want to lower the Slime God to about 1000 hp, and then focus on killing both the Ebonian and the Crimulan slime god.

The Wall of Flesh ~ The end of the guide, yet the start of Hardmode.

And now, after you've defeated the Slime Gods, remember to keep the weapons from the Abyss, you're onto the final challenge of this guide - The Wall of Flesh.
You've probably already fought the Wall of Flesh, considering you're playing Calamity mod, so you know its AI and so.
Although on Revengeance mode and Death mode, its AI changes, so make sure to know what it does and so.
Now that you've defeated the Slime Gods, you should get the Statigel Armor, as it can help out lots in the battle (Whilst summoner could still stick to Bee Armor)
For the fight against the Wall of Flesh, you will need an arena that highly depends on your gamemode.
(The arena is made out of blocks you can't fall through such as Stone Blocks, and it goes through the underworld, making sure you can't fall into the lava, whilst trying to be as straight as possible)
Normal mode: an arena of 1000 blocks should be enough
Expert mode: 1000-1500 arena
Revengeance mode: 2000+
Death mode: 2000+
Please remember that the amount of blocks I said to put it purely up to you, I said this on my experience, if you think you need a thousand for all of them, go for it.
For the fight, the weapons out of the Abyss + the ones made / dropped from The Slime God should be decent and take it out fast enough.
Remember that by now, for summoner class, you can get the Jelly Charged Battery, which can help by giving you a spot for another accesory.
And so, you spawn the Wall of Flesh with a Guide Voodoo Doll
Venture into Hardmode.

Thank you.

Reviews for "Nail Transformation: How Magic Nails Can Boost Your Confidence and Self-Esteem"

1. John - 1 star - I was really disappointed with the prices at Magicsl Nails. I expected them to be reasonable, but they were way too high for the quality of the services provided. The manicure I received was mediocre at best, and definitely not worth the amount I paid. I will not be returning or recommending this salon to anyone.
2. Sarah - 2 stars - I found the prices at Magicsl Nails to be quite steep compared to other salons in the area. Despite the high prices, the service I received was subpar. The nail technician seemed rushed and didn't pay attention to detail. The polish started chipping just a few days after my manicure, which is unacceptable for the price I paid. I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality services at reasonable prices.
3. David - 1 star - I was shocked when I saw the prices at Magicsl Nails. They were extremely overpriced for the average quality of their services. The staff seemed uninterested in providing a good experience, and my nails didn't look any better than they would have if I did them at home. I would advise looking for other options if you want value for your money.
4. Emily - 2 stars - The prices at Magicsl Nails were definitely not worth it. I paid a hefty amount for a simple gel manicure, and it started peeling within a week. The salon lacked cleanliness and organization, and the staff seemed unprofessional. I regret choosing this salon and would not recommend it to anyone.
5. Alex - 1 star - Magicsl Nails is ridiculously expensive for the quality of their work. I visited them for a special occasion, expecting top-notch service, but was left disappointed. The manicurist rushed through the process and did a sloppy job. The paint started to chip within two days, which is unacceptable. I would avoid this salon and opt for more affordable and skilled nail technicians elsewhere.
