Jack O’Lantern World is the vision and creation of an award-winning artist supported by a team of over 50 artisans, designers, architects, carpenters, and event planners. Each New Year we all go to work hand crafting and carving a totally new one-of-a-kind experience. We seek to amaze, create joy and bring the community together around tradition.
ADVENTURE Journey through 15 magical themed worlds of hand carved Jack O’ Lanterns designed by local artists throughout the Chicagoland area.
DATE NIGHT Enjoy a romantic stroll through the illuminated one of a kind creation making this an experience you truly will never forget. BRING THE KIDS A (not scary) Halloween tradition the whole family can enjoy! FOOD AND BEVERAGES Enjoy some food, Grab some sweets for the kids, or enjoy an adult beverage all served by some of your favorite local vendors. You will be able to see a food truck schedule below closer to opening night.

You must arrive within 15 minutes after your selected start time on your ticket. Lights turn off 1 hour after last entry time. This event is ADA accessible. Trail is a paved path. By attending this event, you are entering the Jack O’Lantern World Walk at your own risk. There are possible areas of low lighting, no light, uneven surfaces, variable terrain and slippery surfaces. The trail will take approximately 45 min to walk through. Actual time depends on you! You will need to have your ticket printed off or pulled up on your phone to present at the admission gate. There will be no on-site ticket sales. Prices include admission for one adult or child. Tickets are valid for one use. Tickets are necessary for anyone over the age of 3. All sales are final and promotions and discounts cannot be added retroactively. Portable toilets available on site. Service dogs only, please no pets. Stay on the clearly marked trail at all times. Do not touch pumpkins, lights and displays. All guests, including children 3+ years old, must have a ticket to enter. Tickets are good for one use at the specified date and timeslot on the ticket. Trail is one-way only. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to anyone diagnosed/showing symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days, PLEASE STAY AT HOME.
This event helps support Susan G. Komen! When you purchase tickets, you can make a donation to Susan G. Komen in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will also have a “Pink Pumpkin” section of our show dedicated to supporting Susan G. Komen. You can make a donation when you are in that section of the show, as well.
We are open in most weather conditions however, we will not be able to operate in severe conditions that include lightning. In the event that we must cancel the show, you will be able to transfer your ticket to another available night. If you decide to come on a weekday and your ticket was for a peak night ex. (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) we will be unable to issue a refund for the difference in ticket prices.

By attending this event, you are entering the Jack O Lantern Festival Walk at your own risk. There are possible areas of low lighting, no light, uneven surfaces, variable terrain and slippery surfaces. Illnesses including COVID-19 can spread through close human to human contact which could occur at this trail walk. COVID-19 can cause death. Please stay 6′ apart. Tickets are good for one use at the specified date and timeslot on the ticket. Trail is one-way only.

1. Emily - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Magic Treehouse Dragon". I had heard so many great things about the series, but this particular book fell flat for me. The storyline felt disjointed and the characters lacked depth. The supposed "dragon" element was hardly even present in the book and didn't add much excitement. I found myself struggling to finish it and was left underwhelmed by the overall experience.
2. Jacob - 3 stars - As a fan of the "Magic Treehouse" series, I was excited to read "Magic Treehouse Dragon". However, I found it to be quite lackluster compared to the other books in the series. The plot was predictable and felt rushed, lacking the usual adventure and suspense that I've come to expect. Additionally, I didn't feel a strong connection to the main characters, and their interactions felt forced. While the premise of a dragon seemed promising, it was barely explored, leaving me wanting more. Overall, it was an average read that didn't live up to my expectations.
3. Sarah - 2 stars - "Magic Treehouse Dragon" was a major letdown for me. The story felt repetitive and unoriginal, lacking the creativity and magic that the series is known for. The characters were one-dimensional and didn't grow or develop throughout the book. The pacing was off, with significant gaps in the narrative that made it difficult to stay engaged. The supposed dragon element was merely a side note and didn't add any excitement or new dimensions to the story. Overall, I was disappointed and wouldn't recommend this particular book to others.
