Get ALL of your D&D5e Spells in one Printable File

This week I wanted to share a particularly impressive tool that I have been using with my D&D5e campaigns, both as a Player and a DM when creating Spell Casters. This tool will save you countless amounts of time when preparing a new player character or having an NPC that has a particular set of spells they can use. The webpage is simply named D&D-Spells.

From the creator’s page: “I thought that a tool where you could select the spells for your class, the spells you like or even have prepared in combination with a single magic button to print them all out wouldn’t be so hard to do, and then it began.”

Of course, DND Beyond and many other 3rd Party free apps have come out as great tools for easy reference of spells, but I am kinda old fashioned and like to have all the spells my character can use in front of me on a printed-out piece of paper that I can staple to the back of my character sheet. Also you might be wondering; “Why not simply go out and spend the extra money or so and get all of the official Wizards of the Coast spell cards to have on hand.”

1.) I don’t feel like I should have to spend a ridiculous amount of money for more “convenience”

2.) I then have to worry about maintaining the cards, carrying around more stuff if I am DM-ing, and keeping them in a separate place than my character sheet.

Both of these things don’t seem very “convenient” to me. And this website is a lot faster than what I used to do which was finding each spell on a website or from the SRD and copying and pasting it all into a Word Document.

So how do I use this tool?

So as you can see from the screenshots I provided from the website below, the page has options to sort the spells available by Class, Level, School, Casting Time, Ritual, Concentration, and Source ( PHB , SCAG , and Elemental Evil ). So simply sort what spells you are looking for, check the boxes, and press create spell-cards. You can also customize how you would like them to display (Portrait or Landscape). So hopefully this tool helps many of you save the time that I have been saving lately. And of course, there are many options out there for the same reference. So if this is not the approach you want to use, that is OK too. You do you! 😀 For more awesome tools and stuff for you to use in your games. Reviews for "Spell printing as a form of self-expression: crafting spells that reflect your personality"

1. Mark - 2 stars - I was really excited to try out the Magic Spell Printer, but I ended up being extremely disappointed. It was advertised as a groundbreaking device that could print out spells with just a click of a button, but it failed to live up to the hype. The spells it printed out were weak and ineffective, and it often got the incantations and ingredients wrong. Save your money and stick to traditional spellcasting methods.
2. Sarah - 1 star - The Magic Spell Printer was a complete waste of money. Not only did it not work as expected, but it also caused several technical issues. The printer constantly jammed and printed pages with missing sections. The customer support was unhelpful and never provided a satisfactory solution. I regret buying this product and would not recommend it to anyone.
3. Mike - 2 stars - I thought the idea of a Magic Spell Printer was fascinating, but unfortunately, the execution was poor. The printer itself was unreliable and had numerous glitches. Sometimes, it would print out random symbols instead of spells, and other times it failed to print anything at all. The ink cartridges were also overly expensive and needed frequent replacement. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience and not worth the investment.
4. Emily - 2 stars - As a practicing witch, I was excited to try out the Magic Spell Printer. However, it ended up being more of a novelty item than a useful tool. The spells it printed out lacked the depth and energy that handwritten spells have. It felt impersonal and disconnected from the power of spellcasting. Additionally, the printer's functionality was subpar, with frequent paper jams and ink smudging. I'll stick to traditional methods for now.
