Legends of Might and Magic was announced at the 2000 E3 by 3DO as the first Might and Magic game designed for online play. [1] At the time, it was intended to be an Action/RPG that focused on co-operative multiplayer. With up to six players able to join up, the game was not as extensive as MMORPGs of the time, but it also included 16-player deathmatch, a random adventure generator, and a player vs. monster arena. [2] The game would allow characters to choose one of six classes with differing proficiencies in might and magic before embarking on a quest to collect four artifacts from four worlds to defeat the deranged advisor to the king before he can alter history. [2] The assignments given to the players would depend on their level and how far they had progressed.
In addition to the opposing team, hostile creatures may be present for players to fight the host of each game decides whether or not there will be monsters. One thing we pride ourselves on at New World is the gameplay, and we just didn t feel like we would be able to deliver a fun experience for people with what we had at the time, so at that point a decision was made to not proceed in the original direction, and instead we decided to make a different type of game, explains Executive Producer Jeffrey Blattner.
They must solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and explore different locations in order to progress through the game. One of the unique aspects of Magic Rooster Edg is the ability to transform into different animals, each with their own special abilities. For example, players can turn into a hawk to fly to hard-to-reach places or transform into a bear to break through barriers.

I didn't hate "Magic Rooster Edg," but I didn't particularly enjoy it either. The concept of a magical rooster sounded interesting, but the execution fell flat. The pacing was slow, and the story lacked substance. The characters were forgettable, and their motivations were unclear. I also found the dialogue to be stilted and unrealistic. Overall, I believe there are better fantasy books out there that are worth reading instead.

"Magic Rooster Edg" had its moments, but it failed to live up to the hype for me. While the world-building was interesting, the plot felt disjointed and convoluted. I struggled to connect with the characters and often found myself losing interest in their journeys. The writing style was also a bit overbearing, with excessive descriptions that bogged down the narrative. While some readers might enjoy the unique premise, I personally found myself wanting more from this book.

I had high hopes for "Magic Rooster Edg," but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The story lacked depth and failed to keep me engaged. The characters felt one-dimensional, and their actions often didn't make sense. The plot twists were predictable, and the writing was lackluster. I struggled to find anything that stood out in this book, and I wouldn't recommend it to others looking for a captivating fantasy read.

I can't say I enjoyed reading "Magic Rooster Edg" at all. The writing was confusing and filled with unnecessary metaphors that didn't add anything to the story. The characters were flat and lacked development, making it difficult to care about their fates. The pacing was slow, and the plot didn't have any clear direction. Overall, I found this book to be a chore to read, and it didn't leave any lasting impression on me.
