The ground can be often hard for my horses to jump, I use this product to pack their feet every time they jump. Easy to apply, however, can be little sticky and make sure you don't get it on yourself while applying! Great product and this one is stronger then the blue container hoof pack.

Also after trims and shoeings to be proactive against any possible tenderness or bacteria. It's a nice treat for the horses also. Mom always said "No feet, no horse".

Magic Cushion® Xtreme is a hoof packing for horses that helps relieve sole bruising and post-trimming soreness, treat abscesses, and fight bacterial and fungal infections in the hoof. It can be used as needed, or packed under a shoe and pad and left in place through the shoeing cycle. Proven to provide relief from the everyday rigors of training, abscesses, laminitis, white line disease, pedal osteitis, navicular syndrome, bruising, corns, canker and any concussive trauma to hoof tissues. Magic Cushion® Xtreme uses a higher concentration of ingredients than original Magic Cushion® to provide faster, stronger relief for performance horses. Magic Cushion® Xtreme is a natural product and is not a cause for concern during any drug testing. Supplied as a 4 lb container.
Ingredients: Turpentine, iodine, natural leather fiber, rosin.
Indications: Helps to reduce pain and swelling in the hoof. Kills and prevents growth of bacterial and fungal infections. Relieves the symptoms associated with hoof concussion and trauma. Helps reduce unwanted heat in and around the hoof structure.
Dosage and Administration: Thoroughly clean hoof using a hoof pick and wire brush if necessary. Due to the sticky nature of the ingredients, you may want to use gloves to apply. Excess product may be removed with Absorbine® Veterinary Liniment or isopropyl alcohol.
For packing under a shoe and pad: Pack hoof sole with Magic Cushion® Xtreme prior to nailing or gluing on pad and shoe.
For Packing overnight: Pack hoof sole with Magic Cushion® Xtreme to a depth of 1/2 inch. For optimal results, especially for barefoot horses, cover sole with paper or plastic, then cover entire hoof and sole with self-adhering wraps, duct tape, or hoof boot. Reapply every 24-48 hours until condition improves.
For treating abscesses: Always consult your veterinarian or farrier. Pack hoof sole with Magic Cushion® Xtreme, cover with paper or plastic, then cover entire hoof and sole with self-adhering wrap, duct tape, or hoof boot. Reapply every 24 hours until condition improves.
