So, you want to be a witch? Welcome to my Witchcraft for Beginners guide! I will be updating this blog periodically, especially if I find any new useful resources for new witches. This post was written in February 2020, please bear with me as I update it!

In this blog post, I will be sharing some witchcraft tips for beginners.

I’ll break it down into categories including witchcraft resources, books, and supplies for new witches. This blog post will also feature my favourite witchcraft apps and blogs for the modern witch.

Witchcraft is not a trend. It’s not an ‘aesthetic’. It takes years and years of practice and study. It’s not easy, it requires a lot of work.

Some popular witchcraft YouTubers include The Witch of Wonderlust, Harmony Nice, and The Green Witch. Another excellent online resource for learning witchcraft is websites and blogs. Various websites and blogs are centered around witchcraft and provide articles, guides, and resources on different aspects of the craft.

So, You Want To Be a Witch? A Few Questions You May Have…

  • What is Witchcraft?
  • Are Witches Real?
  • How Do I Become a Witch?
  • Is Witchcraft a Religion?
  • Are Wicca and Witchcraft the same thing?

I’m going to very briefly answer these questions (let me know if you’d like some more detailed blog posts), and point you in the direction of my favourite online and offline witchcraft resources!

  1. Witchcraft is a practice.
  2. Yes. Although perhaps not in the way you’d imagine from the movies and pop culture! We don’t fly around on broomsticks.
  3. Of course, you can become a witch! It’s a spiritual practice, a commitment to personal development, to the Earth, and to her people (and all living creatures). Personally, I believe in deities. You may not believe in deities at all. Witchcraft is not just for women. Witchcraft can be practiced by anyone. It’s important to remember that it won’t be easy, and witchcraft is not just a ‘fun trend’ or ‘aesthetic’ you’ve seen on the internet.
  4. Witchcraft itself is not a religion. It’s a practice, often used as a part of various Pagan religions. Wicca is a religion.
  5. Wicca and Witchcraft are not the same.

OK, so now we’ve covered the basics, time for the witchcraft resources I recommend.

Reviews for "Exploring the Different Branches of Witchcraft Through Free Online Classes"

- Sarah - 1 star - I was very disappointed with the "Learn witchcraft online free" course. The material provided was extremely basic and seemed more like a crash course for beginners rather than a comprehensive learning experience. The videos were poorly made and lacked clear instruction, making it difficult to understand and follow along. Additionally, the course lacked any kind of interactive elements or exercises, leaving me feeling like I was just watching random videos without actually learning anything substantial. Overall, I would not recommend this course to anyone looking for a serious and in-depth study of witchcraft.
- Jason - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the "Learn witchcraft online free" course, but unfortunately, it fell short in many aspects. The content was repetitive and often provided limited information on each topic. The course also lacked structure and organization, which made it difficult to navigate and follow along. Moreover, the instructor's delivery was quite monotonous, making it challenging to stay engaged and interested throughout the course. While it may be a good starting point for those curious about witchcraft, it's definitely not suitable for those looking for a comprehensive and well-structured learning experience.
- Emily - 2 stars - I found the "Learn witchcraft online free" course to be underwhelming. The lessons were too brief and shallow, providing little depth on various aspects of witchcraft. I was expecting more detailed explanations and practical exercises, but instead, the course felt rushed and lacked substance. The content could have been more organized and presented in a way that built upon the previous lessons, allowing for a more coherent learning experience. Overall, I would not recommend this course to anyone serious about learning witchcraft as it failed to meet my expectations of providing a rich and informative curriculum.
