I found "Hike magic in my area" to be quite underwhelming. The descriptions of the hikes were lacking and left out key details such as elevation gain and trail difficulty. The maps provided were also not very accurate and I often found myself getting lost on the trails. Additionally, the photos in the book were not very inspiring and did not make me feel excited to go out and hike. Overall, I was disappointed with this book and would not recommend it to other hiking enthusiasts.
