You are correct. Magick can't cause physical changes. Someone could achieve this through medical transition, but not through magick.

there are beauty spells out there but those can be explained by the law of attraction. You can't unfortunately change your physical nature using magick.

A beauty spell to be viewed a certain way is one thing, this claims you can flip a coin and someone is suddenly the other gender which isn't possible.

correct me if im wrong neko but hormones are natural things right for a mtf spell all you would realy need to do is activate the brain to create aromatase somethign the body can produce to change a gender and thus should be able to be done by entering a theta gamma state completely natural and fully posible not as the spell is curently worded but meh

Technically witchcraft can change your physical body but slowly. It does this by planting the chant in your subconscious mind and the chant works pretty much just like affirmations, but you have to truly believe that you already have whatever change you want because then you're subconscious will believe it and since your subconscious has control over your cells it will think your cells are wrong and will tell them to literally change (I may be wrong)

Nekoshema,if you can't do something it doesn't means it's impossible. I know of some black magicians who can make stuffs appear from nothing or cause a thing to change into some other thing. There's nothing magical about doing what is naturally or logically possible. There are people who can vanish through the air. You may try to scientifically explain this but those who do this do it in an unscientific way.

This doesn't work at all, so no worries there [seriously if you could change someone's gender with a spell I would have helped my transgender friends instead of them having to deal with hormones and surgeries] but I think this person wrote this as a way to mess with cis-gendered individuals.

I have questions on the science of it all but I read your other response and I will agree you could use affirmations to motivate you to create change in your life, and you work towards a goal. The energy you charged through the spell casting will make achieving your goal easier and you'll see results sooner. That is possible and you could argue is magick creating physical change. However, what isn't possible, is saying a chant and *poof* you're now the opposite gender. A gender change spell could work by creating an illusion so people perceive you as your gender identity, you manage to quickly save money for the hormones, you get the surgery sooner than average.

I would guess it is a curse to people who do not believe in trangenderism. Like a lot of conservatives.

Hey Nekoshema, how does an illusion work? For example: If you turned an Expo marker into a pen using an illusion, would the marker write marker ink or pen ink? Would it feel like a pen in your hands or like a marker? And is Astral Projection real, is any of this stuff you believe in real? Does science prove it 100%?

Firstly, I found it a little insulting ''is any of the stuff you believe in real'' it's real to me, and I've experienced it, so that's how I know it's real. It's the same as asking a Christian ''is any of the stuff you believe in real'' again, it's real to them because of their faith and experiences. So, while I probably can't prove to you it's real, I know it is. I've felt magick, cast spells, communicated with spirits and deities, and done many witchy things that lead me to believe in magick and the craft. Anyways, regarding your questions, illusions alter the energy around a person or object so people perceive it as something else. It works better for those not familiar with the person or object [your parents might not fall for an illusion, but an acquaintance will] At a glance, the person might see your nose, eyes, or pen different, but upon closer inspection, they would see through the illusion and see the difference [usually concluding their eyes were playing tricks on them] A marker might at a glance look like a pen, and more skilled practitioners might have it feel like a pen, but it will write like a marker, smell like a marker, and still physically be a marker. As for the astral, it is believed there are multiple dimensions parallel to our own [see Doctor Strange. While not a documentary, the scene where he meets The Ancient One kind of shows what I'm talking about] Your astral is similar to your spirit [it's not, but it's easiest to describe it as your spirit] you can learn to leave your physical form and travel to the other planes of existence. The most common being the astral. As for science, it depends on what you're wanting to prove. Witches believe in energy that brings change [magick] they believe in magickal properties of things like herbs. Witches have known for decades chamomile can heal, but science recently discovered why. Witches know about things like beekeeping, medicine work, herbalism, all things scientists have studied and found the logical answer for. I believe science will slowly discover more about magick [especially since so many in science and medicine follow pagan paths] but I don't need a stamp of approval from science for my faith. I'm fine hearing about the scientific and logical answers to things, but at the end of the day, if I'm benefiting from my path, I don't intend to stop.

Personally, I started with books and youtube. Also, a lot of trial and error. Practice makes perfect. There are tons of resources available [especially on this site with articles and forums] you just have to look. My early days were reading books, articles, making notes, trying what I learned, and talking on the forums. It's easier today since there are more resources. Look up HearthWitch's YouTube channel. She has tons of beginners videos. At the bottom of her channel, there should be links to other witchcraft creators, and so on and so on, so you can find more until the algorithm starts suggesting them.

If you are going just tell everyone that it can only happen through surgery then you don't truly believe in magic. There are plenty of science sites you can go join, so leave the people who actually believe alone.

We are on this site because we follow a Pagan path and believe in Real Magic. If you knew anything about Real Magic, you would know Magic and science work hand in hand throughout history. Magic is a natural force of nature that does not defy nature. Ask yourself, if something like gender transformation was possible, why do we not have more people doing it? If we could fly on broomsticks, why do you not see witches flying around today instead of being stuck in traffic? If Magic could contradict nature, why do we not have fantastical things occurring daily? Magic is very much real, but it has limitations like anything in nature. Keep studying and you will learn this too.

I think that Nekoshema is absolutely right, and they do great work all around this site helping debunk fake spells. Magic isn't truly magic, it's a form of energy that obeys the laws of energy.

How is something both permanent and reversible? They are mutually exclusive. I'd say to pick one, but you forfeited that chance.

It is permanent in the sense that it doesn't wear off, but reversible because you can undo the spell or do the spell again.
