The Curse of the Fly is a 1965 British science fiction horror film directed by Don Sharp and starring Brian Donlevy, George Baker and Carole Gray. It is the third and final part in the "Fly" film series, which began with The Fly (1958) and was followed by Return of the Fly (1959). The film was produced by Robert L. Lippert and was released in 1965. The Curse of the Fly deviates from the previous films in the series by having a completely different storyline and characters. The film follows the story of the Delambre family, who have a hidden secret involving teleportation experiments gone wrong.

Riding flat pedals on technical trails proved to have a steep learning curve though. Being able to manipulate the rear end of the bike without the clipless connection seemed daunting. The Occult pedals threw any remaining insecurities out the window, as they ride the line between too much traction and not enough with ease. I, along with most, dread the feeling of my foot shifting on the pedal at high speed. Although this is pretty much unavoidable at times, with the Occult pedals I found it easier to return to a balanced footing on the pedal than I had with most.

I did come to prefer the Grub screws when using a lower profile tread, but luckily, it s incredibly easy to swap pins, leaving plenty options to dial in the preferred feel. After testing not only Tenet's own pedal but also their competitors, Tenet found that an 11mm spindle was a happy medium between low profile and durability allowing the pedal to pass the industry leading EFBE Gravity Tri-Test. Tenet also took the opportunity to completely redesign the seal to significantly reduce water ingress, extending the life of the internals. Lastly, They made a minor tweak to the platform machining allowing us to run larger MR116-2RS sealed bearings to further increase longevity. All of these updates combined with Tenet's industry leading Pedal Refresh Program make for the best flat pedal currently on the market. Bold statement? Tenet doesn't think so.
