coven, basic group in which witches are said to gather. One of the chief proponents of the theory of a coven was the English Egyptologist Margaret Murray in her work The Witch Cult in Western Europe (1921). According to her a coven consists of 12 witches and a devil as leader. The number is generally taken as a parody of Christ and his 12 disciples. (An alternate theory, stressing the Murray view of a pre-Christian tradition of witches, explains 13 as the maximum number of dancers that can be accommodated in a nine-foot circle.)

Each member of a coven is said to specialize in a particular branch of magic, such as bewitching agricultural produce, producing sickness or death in humans, storm raising, or seduction. The actuality of covens was also accepted by Montague Summers, a well-known Roman Catholic writer on witchcraft in the 1920s and 1930s, and more recently by Pennethorne Hughes in his Witchcraft (1952, 1965). Many students of witchcraft, however, dismiss the Murray theory of covens as unfounded and based on insufficient evidence. Nonetheless, 20th-century witchcraft groups continue to use the term coven, and reports of coven activity in the United States and Europe are not uncommon.

The controller was cumbersome to use and did not respond well to my movements. I also found it difficult to navigate through the different modes and ended up getting frustrated. Additionally, the battery life was not great, and I had to constantly recharge it after a short amount of use. Overall, I expected more from this product and was left feeling unsatisfied.
- John - 3 stars - While the Flynova pro magic controller had some impressive features, I found it to be quite glitchy and unreliable. There were times when it would randomly stop responding or would not sync properly with my device. I also had issues with the durability of the controller as it broke after just a few weeks of use. I appreciate the concept of the product, but I think there are still some kinks that need to be worked out before it can be considered a reliable choice.
- Sarah - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Flynova pro magic controller, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The controller was difficult to get the hang of and I struggled to make it perform the desired tricks. The design also felt cheap and the build quality was not up to par. Additionally, the battery life was quite short and I found myself constantly having to charge it.
