Mostly the first part of the Okeechobee waterway was an easy cruise along the Caloosahatchee River, with only a few locks and bridges but lots of cypress trees.

Wilding the Witches: A Samhain One-Day Retreat
Halloween, All Hallow’s Eve, is also known in Celtic & earth-based lineages as Samhain, the Witches’ New Year. It marks the end of summer, and starts a new great turning of the wheel of the year. This year, we also have a magic full moon to help howl us into a new way of being.
What does it mean to be a witch and to be wild?
. To embrace your untamed and undomesticated self.
. To be in communion with all that is through connection with the earth and the cycles of nature - including the moon and the seasons.
. To know that this world is far greater than what we experience with our five senses.
. To know that magic swirls all around us at all times.
. To always find the mystical in the mundane.
. To dance in the polarities and contradictions that make up all of life, including ourselves. You are not this or that. Life is not black and white.
We witches can hold it all.
This Samhain we will venture into the strange, into the shadow. This time of year the veil is the thinnest between this world and the Otherworld. With one foot in each world, we embrace the “in between,” all of our paradoxes, and weave the web of our creativity, wildness, and weirdness. In the words of David Bowie, “Turn and face the strange.”
Through movement, yoga, dance, spellwork, art-making, and communion with each other and with nature, we will dive into the themes of the season, banish that which no longer serves us, and call in our intentions for this blessed new year. Imagine the energy of strong transformation. What skin will be shed and what lies underneath? What will be birthed from this sacred egg? What will rise from the ashes?
All will be revealed.

Jen Wyatt, owner of Wander Free Wellness, is a teacher and facilitator of yoga experiences, moon circles, ritual, and retreats. She has a Master of Arts degree in Teaching, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, is a certified yoga teacher at the 500-hour level, and is a Reiki healer. She believes that liberation of the true authentic self - in all its weirdness and wildness - is the key to lasting happiness and fulfillment. Jen guides others to come home to themselves by connecting deeply with the earth, with nature's cycles and rhythms, and with the depths of our often buried imagination and creativity.

1. John - 1 star - I was really disappointed with the Florence Clean Magic Face Wash. I had heard so many great things about it, but it just didn't work for me. It made my skin feel dry and tight after using it, and it didn't do much to clean my pores or remove dirt and makeup. Plus, the fragrance was extremely overpowering and gave me a headache. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone with sensitive or dry skin.
2. Emily - 2 stars - I had high hopes for the Florence Clean Magic Face Wash, but it just didn't live up to the hype. Firstly, the consistency of the product was quite runny and it didn't lather well. It also felt like it left a film on my face even after rinsing thoroughly. In terms of effectiveness, it didn't do much to remove my makeup or unclog my pores. Additionally, the scent was not pleasant to me, it was too strong and artificial. I've since switched to another cleanser that works much better for my skin.
