DIY Floating Witch Decoration Ideas for Halloween

By admin

Floating witch Halloween decoration is a popular and eye-catching item used to set the eerie mood during the spooky season of Halloween. This type of decoration brings a sense of mystery and enchantment to any Halloween party or haunted house. The main idea behind the floating witch Halloween decoration is to create the illusion of a witch flying through the air. This is achieved by hanging a witch-shaped figure from a ceiling or roof and attaching invisible strings to it, making it appear as though the witch is floating in mid-air. The effect is further enhanced by the use of LED lights, smoke machines, and sound effects to create an atmosphere of magic and otherworldliness. The floating witch Halloween decoration is a favorite among children and adults alike, as it adds an element of surprise and delight to any Halloween setting.

Halloween is still on my mind, so I couldn’t help but notice this fantastic Overwatch Witch Mercy costume by Rhea of DMZ Cosplay. She completed a photo shoot in the cosplay right before the holiday, and it has a very fall feel. She worked with her photographer from Sohnophotos to “capture the vibe of the various load screens from the game.”

DMZ Cosplay made the costume entirely by hand combining materials such as foam, plexiglass, and fabric. It’s particularly neat to see how the broom took shape. It was initially formed from EVA foam in various colors, covered in Plastidip, and then painted to match Mercy’s in game broom. She says:

The entire broom is made of EVA foam with a PVC pipe core. It breaks down to two pieces for easier transport. The entire Mercy costume is also handmade by me.

See the broom in a couple of different stages below.

Reviews for "Create a Chilling Atmosphere with a Floating Witch Halloween Prop"

1. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with this floating witch Halloween decoration. It looked great online, but when I received it, the quality was really poor. The material was flimsy and didn't hold its shape well at all. Additionally, the mechanism that was supposed to make it float was not powerful enough to keep it in the air for any length of time. Overall, I was not happy with my purchase and would not recommend this product.
2. Sarah - 1 star - This floating witch Halloween decoration was a complete waste of money. The design itself was not very attractive and looked cheaply made. The worst part was that it didn't even work properly. The battery compartment was flimsy and the batteries kept falling out. Even when I managed to keep the batteries in place, the floating mechanism didn't work consistently, sometimes causing the witch to fall to the ground. I was really disappointed with this product and would not buy it again.
3. Mike - 2 stars - I had high hopes for this floating witch Halloween decoration, but it fell short of my expectations. The material used was not very durable and started to tear after just a few uses. The floating mechanism was also hit or miss, sometimes working fine and other times not floating at all. It was frustrating to have to constantly adjust it to get it to work. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product, as it didn't live up to its promises and didn't last very long.
4. Emily - 1 star - I was really unimpressed with this floating witch Halloween decoration. The design was not as attractive as advertised and the construction was poor. It was difficult to assemble and the included instructions were confusing. Even when I managed to get it together, the floating mechanism didn't work properly and the witch just awkwardly floated a few inches off the ground. It was a disappointment and not worth the price I paid.
5. David - 2 stars - I was really excited about this floating witch Halloween decoration, but it ended up being a disappointment. The materials used were not of good quality and the stitching started to come undone after just a few uses. The floating mechanism was also finicky and didn't work consistently. It was frustrating to have to constantly adjust and tinker with it to get it to work properly. I would not recommend this product.
