Lughh was known for her twisted and malevolent nature, often tormenting innocent villagers and causing destruction in her wake. According to the tales passed down through generations, Lughh was born with a natural affinity for black magic. As she grew older, her powers only became stronger, and she used them for her own nefarious purposes. She was said to have a cursed mirror that allowed her to see into the past, present, and future, enabling her to manipulate events to her advantage.

About Us

Magic Years Child Care Gallery Inc. and Precious Years Nursery have over 35 years of Excellence in early care and education, partnering with families and the community to provide early learning schools where discovery through play equals the foundation of learning for a lifetime. Offering half day and full day options, infant and toddler programs, preschool, pre-kindergarten, before and after school care, and Kids Klub programs, our centers serve ages six weeks to ten years old. We provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks daily, which is included in weekly tuition.

Each classroom is uniquely designed to encourage play and foster curiosity about the world around them. We offer hands on activities, arts and crafts, literature, STEM activities, music, creative movement, yoga, cooking, as well as nature activities and outdoor play. Our playgrounds are well equipped and designed to optimize physical activity and promote social interactions with their peers. Gaining confidence in their own abilities while climbing, sliding, digging, through game playing, and don’t forget about our water play!

The safety of our kids is equally important to their educational experience. Each classroom and play area is configured with state of the art camera systems that are monitored throughout the day. Each entrance and exit is secured and monitored, ensuring the safety of the entire of the center.

Every parent receives digital updates daily through the child care software Tadpoles. By using Tadpoles, we are able to communicate with families about what each child had for meals, information about nap times, any notes about needed items for your child, and notes about their day. Monthly calendars and program notices about events and school happenings will be posted to Tadpoles. A photo of your child is sent daily!

We provide transportation to and from your child’s public school within the city of Warwick as part of our before and after school programs.

Nutritious meals and snacks are included in your weekly tuition, including breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. As part of the CACFP, our meals and snacks must meet nutritional standards to ensure your child is receiving the vitamins and nutrients their body needs!

We offer solutions to fit your family’s needs, whatever they may be. If it’s just early morning care, full day care, or even just summer care, you can customize your experience to fit your busy schedule. Some restrictions may apply due to availability and staffing requirements.

Magic Years Nursery School

Preschoolers are full of energy, eagerness and curiosity. A childs incredible creativity and imagination are expressed through dramatic play, artwork and storytelling. Vocabulary and cognitive skills are developing rapidly allowing children to express ideas, solve problems and plan. Learning how to get along with others, follow directions and resolve conflict provide increased levels of independence and confidence.

Magic Years Nursery School was created with the purpose to provide a wholesome atmosphere for pre-school children where they can develop to their potential; socially, creatively, emotionally and intellectually. Each child is able to pursue a variety of creative experiences independently and in groups according to his/her own interests and maturity.

We make an extraordinary effort to keep you informed of your child’s progress and development, as well as day to day classroom activities. Our classrooms are child centered and designed to stimulate creative exploration and support discovery through meaningful, real-life experiences and sound educational philosophies. We are committed to providing your child with a strong academic foundation through our developmentally appropriate programs in a warm, nurturing and secure environment. Children learn best and remember longest that which involves them actively.

Our programs are set up according to the way play relates to a childs development and consists of four major concepts:

• Exercise: Physical activity exercises the large muscles and helps children achieve control of their body and spatial awareness. Physical success gives them confidence which carries over into other non-physical activities.
• Fantasy and Dramatic Play: This is included in housekeeping toys, dolls, animals, blocks, and transportation toys. Through these objects, our children try out various roles and imitate life as they have experienced it. They gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them.
• Creative Play: Art materials of all kinds involve children in the immensely rewarding creative process and give them an opportunity to exercise their imagination and express originality. Its the process not the product that is important.
• Cognitive Play: Construction toys, matching and shape sorting games develop manipulative and cognitive skills to read and to count.
