"Dreams in the Witch House" is a short story by H.P. Lovecraft that was first published in 1932. It is a part of Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, a fictional universe characterized by cosmic horror and ancient, unknowable beings. The story follows Walter Gilman, a student studying mathematics at Miskatonic University, who rents a room in the infamous Witch House, an old house with a dark history. The Witch House is said to be cursed, and the previous tenants have all met strange fates.

This person got really burned in a previous relationship, and because of this is unable to love and show care in his present one, even though he so badly wants to. Skiba sings it in a kind of exasperated way like He s tired of hearing this negative view constantly and just allowing that person to continue feeling the way they feel knowing he can t do anything about it.

While living in the house, Gilman experiences vivid and disturbing dreams that seem to transport him to other dimensions and alternate realities. He encounters the Witch, an entity with a rat-like face and unnaturally long teeth, who promises him knowledge and power.
