And here comes the terrifying witch to settle the score. My 9 year old heart was pounding. Horrified. (My heart beats a little faster just thinking about it decades later.)

Whoa, whoa, whoa. What's going on here? What just happened? Why are they all so happy that she's gone? If they're so happy she's gone, then why were they defending her and helping her? But there were so many of them and only 1 of her. This was not adding up.

Time and routine compound that effect, and we don't even know it's happening anymore. fear becomes the baseline. Living from a place of fear will always put us in a position of servitude. Throw some water on that witch and cross over to the other side where freedom awaits.
