Witch-king of Angmar

The Witch-king of Angmar, also known as the Lord of the Nazgûl and the Morgul Lord [1] [2] , was originally one of Nine Kings of Men. After his corruption, he became one of Sauron's greatest servants (i.e. the Dark Lord's deadliest servant): leader of the Nazgûl, King of the realm of Angmar and Lord of the fortress of Minas Morgul.

Resurfacing much later as the mysterious "Witch-king", the Lord of the Nazgûl established Angmar; at the citadel of Carn Dûm, he gathered Gundabad Orcs, Trolls and Black Númenórean and allied with the Hill-men of the nearby province of Rhudaur against the Dúnedain in the northern kingdom of Arnor. None at that time guessed his true nature, nor that he was under orders from the returned Sauron to wipe out Isildur's bloodline. The campaign proved to be a success: the fractured Arnor was destroyed, its capital city of Elendil reduced to chieftains in the wild. But victory for the Lord of the Nazgûl was short-lived: forces led by Gondor's king, Eärnur , and Glorfindel of Rivendell vanquished the army of Angmar and forced him to retreat. In the battle's aftermath, the Lord of the Nazgûl challenged Eärnur to a duel and though prophecy said no man could slay him, Eärnur accepted and rode out to meet him: Gondor remained without king since. The Witch-king subsequently crept back into his tomb, awaiting his dark master's summons. Called from beyond his grave in the High Fells of Rhudaur, the Lord of the Nazgûl and his peers rallied to Sauron's abode of Dol Guldur in Mirkwood in preparation for the coming war. But the fortress was soon attacked by the White Council, and after a fierce battle, the Witch-king and the other Ringwraiths fled eastwards with the Dark Lord. Taking Minas Morgul as his lair, the Morgul Lord assembled Morannon Orcs, Olog-hai, Mountain Trolls and Mordor Uruk-hai to crush the War of the Ring, the Witch-king was sent to hunt the Ring-bearer and recover the One Ring for his master. During the confrontation in the ruined tower of Weathertop, the Lord of the Nazgûl stabbed Frodo with a Morgul-blade, but was fended off and forced to retreat by Aragorn, the last heir of Isildur. Nonetheless he continued his pursuit, but the protective spells of Elrond (recited by his daughter, Arwen) at the Eye. Seeking retribution for his servant Saruman's defeat at Rohan's stronghold of Helm's Deep, Sauron bid the Morgul Lord marshal legions to raze Gondor's capital city of Minas Tirith to the ground. Leaving his Orc lieutenant, Gothmog, in command of his army, the Morgul Lord oversaw the battle from the skies mounted on his Fellbeast, focusing on Gandalf up until the arrival of Théoden and Rohirrim reinforcements for the Gondorians. Turning his sights to the new enemy, the Witch-king sweeped down on the Snowmane . Before, he could let his Fellbeast feast on Théoden's flesh, the latter's niece, Éowyn, came between them and beheaded his "pet". Brandishing a flail mace, the Witch-king fought the shieldmaiden and wounded her. But before he could end her, the Hobbit Meriadoc Brandybuck stabbed him with an enchanted blade, alowing Éowyn to strike a final blow through the Morgul Lord's helm and the Nazgûl leader crumbled before her. The prophecy of old had come true, for the Witch-king had not been slain by a man, but by a brave woman.

Moments later, a massive ice cream cone materializes, much to their surprise and delight. Realizing the fantastic potential of the wand, Dora decides to embark on a fun-filled quest to discover the extent of its powers. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and challenges that require the use of the magic wand.
