The Curse of Naxxramas is the first adventure expansion for the popular online collectible card game, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. While living nerubians were immune to the undead plague, nothing could prevent the Lich King from bringing back the fallen to join the Scourge in undeath.
The final boss of each wing would award the player with a legendary card upon defeat. In addition to the bosses, the expansion also introduced new card mechanics and abilities. One notable addition was the introduction of "Deathrattle", which triggered a powerful effect when the minion with this ability died.
