Curl Cult Perms

It's vegan, cruelty free, sulfate surfactant free and paraben free, and made in Italy with the highest quality and care you can get.

2. Respects Your Time

The Curl Cult system cuts perm processing time in half and creates wash-and-go styles for a wide range of hair types. That makes more time for kids, work, or whatever you love most.

3. Uses Pea Proteins which are rich in amino acids

This helps increase hydration. Hair absorbs smaller molecules more easily, and they link together to form a protective network that prevents cuticle cracking and damage—the kind that comes from excessive styling and/or hot styling tools.

4. Leaves hair healthier than before

Hair is infused with PisumProtex™ technology – a unique blend of pea protein & plex technology. Curl Cult Liberate solution opens the cuticle layer and infuses PisumProtex™ deep into the hair shaft. Your hair will be noticeably softer with added life and texture for easy, air dry and go hair.

5. Requires certification to perform the service

Salon Dushons is a certified Curl Cult salon.

How much time does it take?
Time is determined on an individual basis depending on hair length, type, and desired outcome. It can take as little as 90-minute for the IT Wave or partial service or up to 3 hours for curl reformation service. Your stylist will be able to communicate how much time to allow during your consultation.

What results can be expected?
Whether you're adding curls or waves or defining your current curl pattern, your Curl Cult treatment will leave you with an effortless wash and go look. Your hair will be noticeably softer with added life and texture for easy, air dry and go hair.

Can hair be colored before the treatment?
We recommend any color service to be done 2 weeks after your Curl Cult treatment.

Can the treatment be done on chemically treated hair, or hair that has been straightened or relaxed?
Getting a Curl Cult service over a keratin treatment can be inconsistent so we recommend a test strand first before proceeding with the entire service. A Curl Cult service should not be done over previously relaxed hair or hair colored with henna.

How many days after the treatment before the hair can get wet or be washed?
You must wait 48 hours before washing your hair, swimming, or sweating profusely.

Can the hair be pulled back or clipped during the 72 hour waiting period?

The treatment can be done as often as every 8-12 weeks.

Is the re-application of the treatment done on the entire head or just on new growth?
The re-application can be done on the entire head. We suggest using the Revive Conditioner through previously processed areas to help give added protection and hydration to hair.

How long will the treatment last?
A Curl Cult treatment will last 2-3 months on shorter lengths, and 4-6 months on longer lengths depending on:

  • how frequently you wash your hair
  • how fast your hair grows
  • the length of your hair
  • how resistant to curling your hair is

Should the hair be cut before or after the treatment?
If you are losing a lot of length , the majority of the cut can happen before the service. If your stylist is simply adjusting the shape to work with your new texture, we suggest waiting to cut your hair until after the service. The right cut for curly hair is imperative for the best results, and layers can really make your new texture pop!

1. Emma - 2/5 - I had high hopes for the Curl cult magic speka, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. The product claims to define and enhance curls, but I found that it made my hair feel sticky and weighed down. The scent was also very overpowering and lingered for hours, which was quite unpleasant. Overall, I did not see any noticeable improvement in my curls and I was disappointed with the results.
2. Mark - 1/5 - This product was such a letdown. I followed the instructions carefully, but it did absolutely nothing for my curls. It didn't define or enhance them as promised. Instead, it left my hair feeling dry and brittle. I also didn't like the fragrance of the product, it was too strong and artificial. I would not recommend the Curl cult magic speka to anyone looking for a curl enhancing product.
3. Sophie - 2/5 - I was excited to try the Curl cult magic speka, but it just didn't work for my hair. I have naturally wavy hair and was hoping this product would help me achieve more defined curls. However, it only made my hair feel crunchy and stiff. The formula was also quite sticky and made it difficult to distribute the product evenly. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to its claims and I was left disappointed.
4. David - 2/5 - I have tried many curl enhancing products, but the Curl cult magic speka was not a winner for me. It didn't provide any extra definition to my curls and left my hair feeling greasy.
