About the Author:Amarildo Pedro Rita He was born in 1962, son of Ms. Nair and Mr. Pedro. He is a native Brazilian from Picarras, Santa Catarina. He has been playing high-level soccer since he was 15 years old. He played professional soccer in Brazil and has been coaching youth soccer players in the United States since 1999. Currently, he is The Director of the a Developmental Soccer Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan which trains over 400 players per season. Coach Pedro holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, two years of Social Sciences from Brazil, and a Master’s Degree in Physical Education. He is also an USSF "A" LICENSE COACH.
Susan Adam-Rita She was born in a small city in Brazil where she lived for 27 years. A psychologist in her home country, she continued to pursue her studies and is currently a Ph.D. student in Counselor Education at Wayne State University. Susan lives with her husband Pedro in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
