Saki Fujita (voice of Hatsune Miku)
Sakiko Fujita (born October 19, 1984), known better as Saki Fujita, is a Japanese voice actress who hails from Tokyo. She is currently affiliated with the talent agency Arts Vision. She is best known for providing the voice sampling for Hatsune Miku, a character of the synthesis software VOCALOID.
History
In April 2003, Fujita joined the Japan Narration Institute. In October of the same year, she won the Special Jury Prize at the final competition of the "VOICE ARTIST & SINGER AUDITION" 'VS Audition 2003'" which was sponsored by Pony Canyon. From April 2004 to July 2006, she was a second-generation reporter for "Anime TV" in the report "College students who want to be a voice actor". In 2005, Fujita auditioned for the heroine of the anime "SPEED GRAPHER" but ultimately lost.
In September 2005, Sakiko Fujita changed her name to her stage name Saki Fujita. In 2006, she was cast as a lead character in the anime "Tsuyokisu CoolxSweet".
After graduating from university in March 2007, she was cast as the voice of Hatsune Miku, the singing voice synthesis software VOCALOID2. On September 24, 2008, she made her debut as a singer with the single "Crystal Quartz". After that, she graduated from the Japan Narration Institute and officially joined Arts Vision.

She has considerable skill in Japanese calligraphy. During January 2007, she wrote her aspirations and "kanji-of-the-day" using her calligraphy skills.
She has very good eyesight but will sometimes wear glasses, depending on the occasion. For instance, a blog post on December 20, 2008, showed her wearing the kind of glasses one would wear to a fancy-dress party instead of her regular ones. This post would prove very popular among her fans as it showed how she could change her demeanor so elegantly with just a simple change in her glasses selection.
Fujita likes baseball and is a fan of the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks. Growing up, her household was heavily invested in the sport, with her mother supporting the Yomiuri Giants. Her father, however, did not have a favorite team at the time but would often watch games together with the family. Eventually, he would go on to be a Hanshin Tigers fan, and being egged on by her parents, Fujita started following the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks.
She is also a big fan of the pop band GARNET CROW. Following the announcement of the band's breaking up in 2013, she appeared on a Nico Nico Douga broadcast with AKB48 member Sumire Satou to discuss the news.

She purchased the game console "WonderSwan" just to play the Digimon game, and proclaimed to her friends that she wanted to go to, and be a part of, the Digimon world. Her dream was realized when, on March 17, 2016, she was cast as the leading female protagonist Shiki for the Digimon World -next 0rder- anime series.
In 2017, Fujita secured the role of Yukari Kotozume in the series Kirakira Pretty Cure a la Mode after her third audition. She had previously appeared as Chieri in Go! Princess Pretty Cure. Prior to landing the roles, she was regularly found mentioning how it would make her year to be involved with the magical girl anime series, stating "I want to be someone who leaves their mark on the Pretty Cure series!" Her manager then helped to adjust her work schedule so that she could focus on Pretty Cure.
