DIY Decor: Transforming a Basic Hat into a Black Lace Witch Hat

By admin

A black lace witch hat is not just a Halloween accessory, but a symbol with a rich history and cultural significance. The witch hat itself has been associated with witches and witchcraft for centuries, often depicted as a pointed, wide-brimmed hat made of black fabric. However, the addition of lace elevates its allure and mystique. Lace, known for its delicate and intricate patterns, brings an element of femininity and elegance to this traditionally spooky object. The combination of black lace and the witch hat adds an intriguing contrast, merging the darkness of witchcraft with the beauty of lacework. This juxtaposition embodies the complex nature of witches, who are often depicted as both malevolent and enchanting figures.

Did I mention the tropical animals?!

You can easily spend a few days exploring the park, but since I only had a few hours I chose to float down the underground river and explore natural cenotes. Kayak through the Spanish Water and enjoy the beautiful views along the way, gearing yourself up for the Storm Plas, where outgoing and incoming waters meet up and create an exhilarating challenge.

Epic Adventures

When I was cruising with Carnival Cruise Line in the Caribbean, I went on some of the most AMAZING adventures. I couldn’t believe all I was able to do on this trip! The excursion options were seriously limitless and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat! After three days of onshore exploration, can’t wait to share some snapshots of each!

DAY 1: My first port was Cozumel, Mexico. A Carnival crew member recommended I go to Xcaret Park… and I’m so glad I did. The best way to describe Xcaret Park is it’s like a giant paradise amusement park… there are SO many activities available. You can easily spend a few days exploring the park, but since I only had a few hours I chose to float down the underground river and explore natural cenotes. The pictures don’t do it justice. It truly was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life. A grand adventure indeed.

DAY 2: My second port was in Belize City, Belize. This day was filled with rich history and exploring. A group of us traveled to the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins which is just two miles away from the Guatemalan border. It was really amazing to walk through this archeological site… I felt very connected to a big piece of ancient history. I mustered the courage to climb to the top of El Castillo which is the largest temple. The view was TO DIE FOR! Breathtaking! You can see right into neighboring Guatemala!

DAY 3: My final port was in Roatan Island, Honduras. I’ve NEVER been zip-lining and I knew if there was ever an opportunity to experience an epic zip-line, THIS was it! The feeling of flying through a tropical canopy down seven different cable lines was an indescribable rush! Each platform offered a totally unique mountain view, and I spotted wild parrots, monkeys, and even an orange iguana! After the zip-line adventure I spent the rest of the day at Gumbalimba Park, enjoying white sand beaches and snorkeling through the world’s second largest great barrier reef. I was mesmerized by all the colors of the fish, corals, and sea plants. NOTE: MUST BRING AN UNDERWATER CAMERA, which was my regret. The experience, however, will be with me forever.

Carnival Cruise Line offers adventures beyond your wildest dreams. Just trust me.
