All the Forbidden cards focus on manipulating monsters ATK or, in the case of Forbidden Scripture , ignoring changes in ATK and DEF during battles and card effects, either by granting monsters immunity or by negating their effects. Sealing Spellbook of Fate away can often leave you free to demolish your opponent s fragile Prophecy monsters, while your opponent can t do anything about it.

Forbidden magic spell cards

Powerful Spell Cards are the fuel that ignites many of today’s most power strategies. Dragunity and Dragon Ruler Decks have Dragon Ravine to set up their hand and Graveyard, Fire Fist Decks use their Fire Formations to search, Summon, and destroy cards, Bujins need their Spells to get to their all important Bujin Yamato, and Prophecy Decks have an entire library of Spellbook Spell Cards to get out of any sticky situation! Letting your opponent take full advantage of these Spells can lead to them becoming an unstoppable force later on in the Duel, so it’s time to check out one of the ways that you can stop these Spells for good: Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell!

Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell is a card that’s been around ever since Invasion of Chaos, and while it’s an old card it certainly packs a serious punch. Whenever a Spell Card is activated, you can discard a Spell Card to negate its activation and destroy it. Then, your opponent is unable to activate cards with the same name for the rest of the Duel! Even if you use it to negate a card that your opponent only uses one copy of, like Dark Hole, it can still be worthwhile as a way to just negate a Spell Card if you really need to use it. But landing one of your opponent’s most important cards can make the Duel extremely difficult for them.

While using Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell and discarding a Spell Card might seem costly just to stop one card, you also get the peace of mind knowing that your opponent can’t use further copies against you during the Duel. Sealing Dragon Ravine will slow down Dragon Ruler Decks considerably, by leaving them with a Graveyard that takes longer to fill, and potentially making them draw extra copies of Dragon Ravine! Sealing Fire Formation – Tenki prevents your opponent from getting free monsters, slowing down the cyclic combos of Brotherhood of the Fire Fist – Bear and stopping your opponent from getting a Bujin Yamato to gather up Bujingis. Sealing Spellbook of Fate away can often leave you free to demolish your opponent’s fragile Prophecy monsters, while your opponent can’t do anything about it. If you’re playing a match against any Deck that uses a key Spell Card, preventing your opponent from using it can make the Duel much easier for you.

While it is expensive to use Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell, a few Decks can take easy advantage of its cost. Noble Knights can often afford to discard a Spell Card to use the Seal, as Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights relies on salvaging Noble Arms from your Graveyard. With Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell, you can discard a Noble Arms card to negate your opponent’s Spell. Then Summon either of your Artorigus Xyz Monsters and grab it back! Ironically, Prophecy Decks are also able to use it easily as well, thanks to Spellbook Magician of Prophecy and The Grand Spellbook Tower giving you free cards. That and the fact that over half of the cards in most Prophecy Decks are Spells to begin with.

While these strategies can use it easier than others, that doesn’t mean that other Decks can’t use it. Sometimes it’s just worthwhile to drop a card you can do without right now, like a Mystical Space Typhoon against a Deck without many Traps or Continuous cards, to prevent your opponent from getting an advantage with their card, and that’s where Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell shines.

If a particular Spell Card is getting you down, Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell can give you the protection that you need. With lots of extremely powerful Spells being used in almost every Deck, Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell is a card that you shouldn’t forget about. And if you rely on powerful Spells, watch out! Someone might be planning on using it against you in your next Duel!

Reviews for "The Apple Jacks Mascot: A Symbol of Fun and Excitement in the New Year"

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Apple Jacks mascot for the new year. It felt like a desperate attempt to attract attention, and it completely missed the mark. The design was way too over-the-top and didn't fit with the brand's image at all. Plus, it was just plain creepy. I would have much preferred something simpler and more in line with the Breakfast cereal theme. Overall, a major letdown.
2. John - 1 star - The Apple Jacks mascot for the new year is a complete disaster. It's clear that they were trying to be creative and unique, but instead, they ended up with a character that's confusing and off-putting. The color scheme is garish, the costume is bizarre, and I can't even begin to understand what they were going for with that oversized hat. It's a shame because I used to enjoy Apple Jacks, but this new mascot has turned me off completely. I'll be avoiding their products from now on.
3. Emily - 2 stars - I really don't understand why Apple Jacks thought the new mascot for the new year was a good idea. It's like they were trying to cater to a younger audience but missed the mark completely. The character is just too weird and outlandish, and it doesn't fit with the playful and enjoyable nature of the cereal. They should have stuck with something more classic and relatable. I hope they realize their mistake and come up with something better soon.
