It felt like I was reading a book for children, even though it was marketed as a young adult novel. The writing style was also quite simplistic, and I think it could have been much better executed. Overall, I found this book to be underwhelming and would not recommend it.

The characters were flat and uninteresting, and I found myself not caring about their fates. Additionally, the dialogue felt forced and unrealistic. I couldn't wait for this book to be over, and I definitely won't be picking up anything else by this author.
